Beautiful home with plenty of space for a couple of families. Lots of dining space and a huge deck. The garage is a plus for winter stays when you don't want to spend time cleaning off the car. Plenty of deer roaming nearby and we even saw a moose up close near the bottom of the hill. I would recommend an AWD vehicle as the roads are improved but not paved.

Girls Weekend

Our stay was great! Everything was beautiful and as promised. Two very small improvements that could be made is the dvd player wasn't working for us and the quality of the cookware was not ideal. Outside of that everything was perfect and all 8 of us had an amazing time!

We absolutely looovveee Elk Ridge! The property has everything we need and is cute and cozy:) We always have the most amazing adventures and you cannot beat the views and the cute little town! We will definitely be back again:)

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

Elk Ridge is a beautiful home with great accommodations for family or friend time. It is located within 15 min of Fairplay, as to seek out shopping or eating, but also a reasonable drive to Buena Vista or 14ers for mountain fun!

Great getaway

We had 8 adults and this mountain home worked great! Four bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms was ideal. The three levels allows people spread out and the large deck helps also. The property manager was very helpful too! We enjoyed gathering our family for a special vacation.

WOW!

So, this ended up being our second choice as the first place I booked cancelled due to water damage from pipes bursting. I was a bit cautious as to the elevation of the property so we elected to stay in Denver for the first two days to acclimate to the elevation. It helped definitely. We arrived on a Thursday (only downside was the road was EXTREMELY full of ruts and potholes. Our Toyota Venza with AWD hung in there. We just drove slow even though we saw people flying on the road. That bei we said the house was AMAZING! So clean and so much space! We felt like kings. We had everything we needed and they even provided a bottle of Proseco for us to celebrate our anniversary which we did with mimosas one morning. We did notice the elevation a bit, no one got sick but we just got a little winded when exerting but nothing bad for us. We enjoyed the deck every day as we got super lucky and the weather was amazing. Used the fire table and hot tub which also were clean and grilled also. Cannot say a bad thing about the place. Saw a fox, birds, chipmunks and a bit elk print with elk poo. (never saw the elk). This home is beautiful!

Beautiful property but a little need maintanence

This is a beautiful property, we enjoyed our time a lot. One thing I will say Everyones allergies flared up, the carpet need a deep cleaning, there was a lot of dust everywhere, the kitchen oven mitten and hot pot holders were very dirty and the hot water defiantly ran out very quick. Minor detail, but we would defiantly go back.

Hidden Gem in the Mountains

We had the most wonderfully stay! This was the prefect place for our family to stay! It had everything we needed and more. Just like the pictures! Amazing view! The most beautiful sunrise and sunsets! FairPlay is a hidden gem in the mountains! Fishing, gold panning, moose, all sorts of wildlife! We will definitely be back:)

Two Family Vacation

We had 9 people vacation here and it was just gorgeous! First time trip for many of the group and this was a perfect place to relax and explore. We all had enough room and the kitchen was well stocked! We had five teen boys so the kitchen was able to hold us all and fix meals easily. Small towns around us were fun (South Park lovers) and we were close to bigger cities for shopping and adventures. Made wonderful memories! Thanks!

Great place, great little town

House and surrounding property was great. Everyone was very comfortable. Local grocer and brewery are good in town stops. Only suggestion would be to have a ceiling fan in the downstairs en-suite bedroom, but that’s probably because my wife and I use a ceiling fan year-round here in Texas.

Very spacious mountainside house

Our stay was great! Everything was as perfect as the listing states. It was way up on a mountain so everything was pretty far away but it was definitely worth it. The elevation was at 9,300 so its pretty high up and it made it a little hard to breathe when going up the stairs or walking around but it was okay for my family. I would advise anyone with a breathing condition to not go that high or make sure you have an oxygen tank. Overall, evertything was great and the house had everything we needed for our stay! Definitely recommend!!

A Great Family Getaway

We absolutely loved this property! The surroundings are beautiful and the layout of the house was perfect for everyone to have their own space and come together in the common areas. This family group hadn't been all together since before 2019. It was a refreshing and fun environment to be all together!

Perfect home in a perfect location

The home is lovely! The amenities were great. (Except maybe provide a 2nd hair dryer and more toilet paper.) The decks made for great hangout space with a fire pit and hot tub on the lower desk. We had a wonderful, relaxed family time away from the crowds of Breckenridge. Would highy recommend.

Wonderful House

Great vacation home. Beautiful views. Large porches and hot tub. The snow was beautiful. The couches were comfy and the fireplace was a big hit with our family of 8. Our only complaint… No wine glasses…the views, and the fireplace , the porches…needed to be experienced with some good wine…🍷
