Beautiful home

This home is everything you would hope for in the photos, and then some! The host has included everything you might need: raining out - there is an umbrella; want to make s'mores - there are all the fixings for that in a cabinet; and lots more. This is a large, spacious home that will easily accommodate a family or group. There was a power failure that impacted the whole Valley of the Sun area during my stay and the host was communicative on the status. Everything you may need in the kitchen is there, including coffee, cookware, seasonings/spices and staples like flour, sugar, cooking oil. Powerful internet and SmartTVs to keep us entertained. Do be sure have your GPS going before heading off of SH-9 to CR-1. Be sure to check out the nearby Pika Trail. This is one of the best short term rentals I've ever experienced and hope to get back sometime. I highly recommend.

Best Booking Ever

Beautiful, very clean and spacious home. You can tell thought was put into every detail. Above and beyond communication. Weather created road closure and Nicole stayed in contact to make sure everyone arrived safely. We will definitely be coming back!

Magnificent mountain views

We hit the jackpot with this house. Everything was even better than we hoped it would be. Nicole went the extra mile with all the amenities, furnishings and appliances. While my dog and I settled in upstairs for our month long visit, my friend set up her home office downstairs. The mountain views were spectacular along with moose and deer sightings. We are hoping to go back next year for several months.

Excellent Property for a Summer Stay

Our family had a fabulous time here. The kitchen was well appointed with enough high quality cookware, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. to serve food to an army. A few not-too-busy hiking trails are less than a mile away along with good access to Breckenridge over Hoosier Pass. But the views are so nice you might not want to leave! Would definitely stay again.

End of successful school year celebration!

Cabin leaves you with no wants. Everything is provided that guest would need. Loved the seclusion and peacefulness, yet close enough to enjoy Breck without all the crowds. We plan to be back again soon! Thank you for the memories created this trip!!

Husky Mountain Escape exceeded my expectations for a "dog friendly" rental! This is a gem rental and felt like a luxury hotel in many ways - from the thoughtful amenities to the beautiful and comfortable furnishings! My four-legged companion loved the treats and sunning on the deck watching the squirrels. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a wonderful retreat! I hope to return!

Beautiful Home in Peaceful Surroundings

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As previous reviewers have mentioned this home comes with all the amenities that anyone could possibly need. The location is remote enough to not notice the neighbors, while also still being close enough to town to allow for an easy trip to either Fairplay or Alma to grab coffee or lunch. The owner was easy to communicate with and was always quick to respond to any and all questions. She was also very accommodating to our check-in requests. We spent hours relaxing on the deck, and we enjoyed being able to use the grill to make dinner each night. Overall, the home was a very comfortable place to call home for the week. We would definitely stay again.

One of the best properties my husband and I have stayed at! Everything is immaculate and so well thought out. Close to lots of hiking, but yet feels remote where you can’t see neighbors and gives you a sense of seclusion. Would highly recommend booking and definitely hope to come back!

We LOVED the Husky Mountain Escape!

The home was very clean and the bedding was super comfortable. The interior is a good blend of modern and mountain rustic, not at all kitschy cabin decor. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. When we had questions the hosts were super responsive and helpful. Everything exceeded our expectations! This home is stunning! Beautiful mountain home!

We loved this property. It is close enough to Breck for skiing and restaurants/shopping, while also providing the quiet and views we were looking for. Our dog loved playing in the snow here! The house itself is very nicely appointed with quality amenities, plus special touches for dog owners. As a person who vacations often with our pets, it is not often that we find a property that allows pets that is also 5 star. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing winter getaway

The house was wonderful. It seemed like it was brand new and even better than the pictures. There was plenty of space for six people and a dog. Loved having all the little extras like toiletries and dog treats. Especially loved the duvets! Bonus in having the two cat garage so we didn’t have to dig the truck out of the snow. Definitely need the four wheel drive to get up the driveway, but worth it for the views.

The Perfect Stay

This property was absolutely incredible. It’s even more impressive in person than it is in the listing. It was clean, cute, and comfy. Being able to bring our pups was a huge plus. It’s stocked with everything you might need. Nicole was also a lovely host. It’s close to FairPlay and not too far from Alma. We drove back and forth to Breckenridge to ski as well and it wasn’t a bad drive at all. I definitely recommend staying here!!!
