Amazing views, beautiful house! Clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. Hot tube was nice to enjoy in the cool evenings. Fireplace was great, make sure to bring firewood. We were disappointed there was no dvd player but lots of dvds. There were cable channels to watch and only Netflix to stream. Management company was communicative before and during our stay.

The cabin is very nice and very well-maintained. You can definitely tell this is a rental property as opposed to a personal home. It was in a very quiet location. Unfortunately, the hot tub has restrictions on kids using it, so that was kind of a bummer. While the property was very nice, there were a lot of maintenance issues with the water/faucets, indoor wood stove and gas stove, front door lock, and outside gas stove. All the kitchen appliances worked appropriately and it was nice to be able to do our laundry before our journey home. It was a wonderful day but needs a little TLC/maintenance!

Family vacation

The house was in a beautiful location and well appointed. It should be noted that the home is located off the highway with a four mile dirt road drive. Larger car is recommended. The hot tub was wonderful with beautiful views! We had a great time and will be back to Colorado soon.

Wonderful Mountain Get-Away

Being from the midwest, we absolutely enjoyed this secluded mountain home for our vacation. We loved the hot tub, the decore, the small stream out back, the puzzles/games, and how well stocked the kitchen is. The location worked very well as a launch pad for other daily activities. We enjoyed the Pennsylvania Mountain Trail nearby. Be aware that the back road getting to this property can be a bit rough and a truck/SUV is probably best suited for the trek.

awesome place

the place was great. very very nice house. exactly as is pictured. we loves it. only negative was there was no firewood for fireplace and what is sold at the store is not good easy burning wood and expensive. would recomend that firewood be provided for guests is all. other than that the place was perfect. thank you so much.

Christmas Winter Wonderland

Our family spends Christmas in the Colorado Mountains every year and have gone through this property management company a few times. They are great, and helps us get our presents to the home for when we arrive. This particular neighborhood is fantastic - great log cabins with privacy and fabulous views! They have the homes decorated with Christmas trees so you feel like you are at home.For this particular home, we would recommend the owner to consider purchasing new pillows - that was the only complaint we had!Highly recommended place for the winter but could see this as a fabulous option during the summer as well!

Lovely Home in the Clouds

We really enjoyed our annual gathering in the Fairplay/Alma area. This cabin is the highest elevation we ever stayed (11,200 ft). The on and off snow was beautiful. The cabin is advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Also, one of the best kitchens we have come across. Hot tub was not as clean as it should have been which is why I knocked it one star.

We loved everything about the lodge and the location. Beautiful views, nice hot tub and plenty of hiking trails close by. Kitchen was equiped with everything needed (except potato peeler, scissors and bottle opener). Very comfirtal bed and furnature. Loved the accent furnature pieces. Lovedaccent furnature pieces.

Just average. Poor instructions to light gas heater in the basement. The door with the keypad was difficult to operate. The gas fireplace on the deck does not work.Won`t stay lit. out door grill cover needs replaced. No where to hang clothes in upstairs bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. We will look elsewhere when we return.

Great house in the clouds

Terrific mountain house. Everything was in very good condition, comfy beds, etc. A few small complaints: I think a rental should have basic toiletries and some tissues, but at least they disclosed that. I would’ve preferred window coverings that blocked the morning light better. And it’d be helpful to know that the house is 20 minutes from the center of town.

Perfect getaway

Amazing weekend! Property was as advertised and in a perfect location with excellent views. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity you could want. 15 minutes after our arrival a mother moose and her calf showed up right by the front walkway. Lot's of wildlife visited over the weekend. Will definitely book this location again. Only suggestion is lock your vehicle. Final night there a bear got into my truck even though I had no food nor food packaging in there. Just a few minor scratches, lots of mud and a great story to add to the weekend!!

Beautiful spot in Colorado

Great spot with lovely views. Spacious home with well equipped kitchen. Having hot tub was wonderful after a day spent fishing in the beautiful Colorado outdoors. Really enjoyed our stay.
