Property was fine. Roads near house were terrible. Bad enough that I probably wouldn’t rent in that area again. That isn’t the homeowners issue. The rental company was great.

Could’ve been worse

Beautiful. But needs entertainment. You have to submit to having streaming subscriptions or you’re stuck with staring at the wall for entertainment. The only usable entertainment on the property is the pool table on the ground floor. The projector does not work. The TV in the upstairs bedroom also does not work, it would work with a cable option, but no cable, despite having direct tv boxes wired to every tv. But the service is not connected, and the tv in that bedroom not being a smart tv renders it completely useless and for decoration only. We eventually found a free streaming app for the living room tv, but due to extremely poor internet it also would not work. The advertised internet on VRBO says it has Starlink. That is not true. It has “Skylink”, which is distinctly different from Starlink and is much much slower. We will not stay at this property again. We made it work, but on vacation we look for extreme convenience and comfort and not to have to make it work. We have been using VRBO for about 12 years now, this is the first time we were disappointed.

Great cabin

The views were beautiful and the hot tub was great to sit in while it snowed at night. There were a few dead bugs in the bathrooms, the entertainment system never ended up working and the sheets in the upstairs bedroom were yellowed... But we got a lot of use out of the pool table and the furniture was surprisingly comfortable. Overall we had a really great time staying here and would recommend it, just be aware of technical problems and the roads were pretty rough for the last little bit, I would recommend 4 wheel drive no matter the time of year.

Beautiful cabin

Family of 7, stayed in the cabin for a week. Beautiful area, beautiful home. Only downside was the projector did not work and it was one of the main reasons we wanted to stay there. Other than that, it was a pretty perfect stay!

Overall good location with great view. Would have liked to have the projector working to watch a movie on the big screen provided. Also could not get the stereo to work. Would have liked to have better instructions on how to operate the fun stuff....

Great Scenic Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our time at Lunar View cabin. We have stayed several times in this area and it continues to be a favorite for our family. The views from the cabin were great and delivered the privacy we were looking for. Communication with the host was fantastic and prompt. The towns of Alma and Fairplay are very near and deliver the perfect mountain town vibes. Buena Vista and Leadville are also great to visit and comfortably close for daytrips. Great host and property. Thanks for the stay!

Colorado Stay

Our stay here was not good. The property is pretty and the young adults loved the pool table and basement area. The road getting to the house is very very rough. When we got to the house, it had not been cleaned properly. We did make the management company aware and they offered for someone to come out. The cabinets were nasty and the dishwasher has mold in it. The pots and pans are almost unusable. Both bathtubs have ringed stains and the carpet is not clean. There are also several things that the listing claims to have but are actually not available. There is a tv in the master, but no satellite available and it is not a smart tv. The master is also not a suite, there is no bathroom in that room. The master bed has several pieces of plywood under the mattress to keep it from sinking down any further. It was not comfortable at all. The surround sound outside is permanently unhooked, you can't have a fire and there is no rollaway bed. We were told the owner took the rollout bed and the management company was unaware. This put someone on the floor in our group, which is unacceptable to me when you are told it sleeps a certain number of people. We have rented several properties from vrbo, this is one that will make me question my next rental. I would not rent this again. Bottom line is, they promise a lot and don't deliver. The property needs lots of care and upkeep. I did send pictures to the management company.

Great stay in beautiful nature!

This was a great location to stay and relax in, 10/10 would recommend, lots of rooms, and space for the whole family to hang out! FYI if you are from front range or lower altitudes, and traveling here during the spring: The house is at ~11,000 feet elevation, thus there is a high potential for it to snow well into late spring, make sure you have a car with four wheel drive and snow tires/chains. We traveled here during early May and there was 2+ feet of snow on the ground, and it snowed 12-14 inches during our stay.
