Great mountain stay

Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin was wonderful and the location is great for those who want to see wildlife. We saw moose almost every day and had one that showed up in the front yard.Listing is accurate and photos are just as the house looks. We will definitely return again.

This is a great property. We even woke up to Moose is the backyard one morning. I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need to cook with. Only issue was the coffee pot leaked every time we used it. Other than that it was a beautiful cabin. Thanks gor having us

Perfect Cozy Retreat

A total dream spot for a group of girl friends from college to come spend a cozy winter weekend!! The hot tub is very nice, there was plenty of kitchenware for all our cooking, and the fireplace was awesome. To top it all off, we spotted the family of Moose before checkout our last morning!!

Wonderful

Our stay at the Claim was absolutely wonderful. Wish we could of stayed longer. They had everything we needed and much, much more. We really enjoyed the privacy but it was a very short drive to rafting, hiking & exploring. Also, enjoyed seeing moose every morning.

Great Cabin

We arrived and the place was beautiful! The house was clean and well taken care of. The road in isn’t bad if you have a 4x4. We saw a couple moose as well, which we loved. The owners were in communication the whole time by texting to see if everything was ok, and it was. Make sure to bring soap and shampoo for this one! Overall 10/10 would recommend

Great place to stay. Hot tub was amazing. Steam shower was incredible. Very comfortable house very homey. Lots of games and puzzles. Nice to have an indoor fire. Hosts very accommodating. Would recommend.

White Christmas

Log home was perfect for ou party of five to celebrate Christmas together and enjoy a white Christmas. Breckenridge was a short drive to enjoy skiing and dinner. The boys and husband enjoyed seeing the moose almost daily and the real fireplace. Home was decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree and the management company allowed us to ship our presents in advance so we could quickly get them under the tree upon our arrival. Highly recommend this home for a winter’s stay!

Nice property, terrible management

Lovely home and property but it was dirty and the boiler was not operating correctly. We also were stung by bees making a home in the window frame on the deck. But my main complaint is that the management company acted like we were either lying or exaggerating about the problems we encountered.

Moose!

4 of the 6 days here moose grazed with in sight of us. One day it fed in the front yard for an hour or so. One day a bear passed from the stream in to the hills. Lots of wild life. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Great week!

Gorgeous cabin with lots of space

Our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs stayed here for a week. The cabin had plenty of space for all of us to relax. The kitchen and dining area was perfect for us all to cook and eat. The beds were comfortable. The game room was fun! We seen moose walk by the front porch one evening. It was a good 40 minute drive to Breckinridge, over the pass. Would definitely stay here again.

Winter Storm

My kids (young adults) and I drove from So Fla and San Diego. We were there for the week when the bomb cyclone hit in Dec 2022. Wind gusts up to 60, wind chills -50, up to 9in of snow. I was a little concerned but the cabin is new and well built and we never lost power. Very lovely cabin has all the comforts you'll need. Great fireplace. Went skiing at Breck. Saw a rather large moose that stayed in the distance since we had 2 dogs with us. Amazing holiday.

Property was amazing

This property was absolutely amazing. Everything was clean, and the view was stunning. The 3rd floor hot water did not work, but there were two other bathrooms where the hot water was perfect, and the team was quick to respond regarding checking into it. The hot tub and game room were also a great treat.
