"It was a quiet clean little place to stay. Walking distance to a grocery store and fast food joints. I met Ryan the owner, he was a super nice guy, he was flexible and easy to work with. His place was stocked with all the essentials. I was there for work, but it would be a great home base for a vacation getaway. There's plenty to see in the surrounding towns. If I'm ever in the area for work or pleasure I will definitely contact Ryan and see If he has a place available to stay."

"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. "This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend!"

"Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. "I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin!
