Tranquility in the woods
The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck looking out at the Alaska range in the distance. It was very relaxing. The house was also very comfortable with multiple comfortable seating areas and a well stocked kitchen. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Beautiful home
First, this was an amazing property. You are about 20 minutes from downtown Fairbanks, close enough to get in and out, but the benefit of being secluded with beautiful views. Highly recommend. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is due to a strange situation with the property owner. She is very nice and accommodating, but the first night we arrived she sent me a message on VRBO asking if we want her to come over and show us the ropes. I responded no thanks, we're good and will let her know if we need anything. Then the next morning we were getting ready and there was a loud banging on the front door. My kids were very startled and a bit afraid, as we told them we are in an isolated spot and nobody would be coming to the house. I opened the door and it was the property owner who said she came over to get her toolbox. Considering that we had always communicated promptly on VRBO, we felt it was improper for her to just show up without at least letting us know before hand and scheduling a mutually convenient time.

Beautiful cozy in great location to Fairbanks
We had a different home booked but it got canceled so we were happy to find Kathy’s place. Only reason we had not booked it already was it has 2 1/2 baths and we were hoping for 3 since we had 3 couples. 3 baths are hard to find so we made it work. Kathy was very easy to work with and we found her place exceptional. This was a bucket list trip and we hoped to see Northern lights and we were not disappointed. We got to see them 2 nights. The 2nd time we knew they were coming we drove up to Cleary Summit and we did see a little but it was cold and a lot of people there so we decided to go back to the house. When we got home they were bright right in front of the house. We saw them better right there. House was very well appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen. Nice large table for playing games and large groups. Kathy had pretty much thought of every thing. If there was one suggestion, beds could use a mattress topper. The other 2 couple said there beds were good but my husband and I found our bed to be too hard. But we would stay again for sure!!

Unbelievable View of Daneli
Beautiful property, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. Very well stocked with everything a person may need. Kathy, the Best Hostess! We were 5 adults, house is 3 stories, lots of privacy. Lovely deck and the view of Daneli, was breath taking from back of house. Kathy brought us over delicious fresh baked muffins the first AM. We loved our stay, 1 wk, and we will definitely be back. Thanks Kathy❤️

Great Experience
This home was a great place for us to stay and very clean place! Kathy was great to work with through the process. Property was as described and no complaints at all. We would stay at this house again if we are back in Fairbanks.

We just LOVED this perfect cabin for our Aurora Boreales adventure!!
From booking to arrival to departure this was a magical place for a lovely home base for all of our Fairbanks adventures!! We all enjoyed every moment at the Moose in the Garden Cabin. We saw the Aurora right from our bedroom! Every room was comfy and the view from the living room ~ DENALI ~ completely mesmerizing! And the bonus of it all was the lovely connection with our host Kathy ~ we will definitely stay again! Thank you ~ and much ❤️ Jen, Glenny, Sean & Vanessa

Exceptional!
Me and my husband stayed for 5 nights in this amazingly cozy cabin. It was everything we were looking for. Super clean, beds incredibly comfortable, and Kathy was very easy to work with! We loved it and hope to be back someday! Everyone in Fairbanks was so friendly! Do not hesitate to book this property!!
