What a wonderful home to rest in. we visited in the middle of a snow storn with temps going down to neg 30 plus... drive, walkways taken care of. Home was welcoming and very comfortable for our party of 6. We cooked, baked, did laundry, puzzles, built nightly fires and had lots of laughter! House was warm and wel equipped.

Excellent stay in well deigned home with sweeping views of the greater Fairbanks area. Norman was a great host and stopped by to make sure everything was acceptable. The weather prevented us from seeing the aurora, but this would be an excellent property to observe the colors of the night sky.

The location and view was wonderful and the kitchen was well stocked. If you are looking for a VRBO with less "rules", then this is the one. Wear shoes inside if you like. The trade off is the interior and furnishings could use an upgrade. None of us sat on the couch because it was pretty dusty. We loved the location and loved that the host greeted us on our arrival.

We had an awesome stay! Its a beautiful house up on the ridge above Fairbaks. 6 minute drive to a great coffee shop. We got to enjoy drinks at night up on the balcony looking at mountains off in the distance. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and setting. The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We were a group of 8 and it was great to have space to spread out with individual bed and bath rooms. The house it a bit outside of Fairbanks but is an easy drive in. The host was very nice and stopped in twice to check to make sure we had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay at Knoll house again.

We had an amazing time and house was perfect for our family. Norm is very helpful. The listing pictures do not do the views justice. The weather was great and the view from the driveway and upstairs were gourgous. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay in Fairbanks. The house was as advertised. We were there for spring break. The northern lights were visible over the hill most nights, and the kids enjoyed the available sleds during the day.

Great accommodations for a large group

We appreciated having 4 bedrooms with attached baths. The kitchen was well supplied (could have used a bit more silverware). The location is a bit out of the way, but works well to be away from the lights of downtown Fairbanks, as we had good Northern Lights Views from the property. Norm is a very nice and accommodating host.

Beautiful house and location

House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing, fireplace was easy to use and wood plentiful. Decently outside of town but easy to get to with 4wd even in January. Views of the northern lights plus we had moose visitors! We'll be back.
