Beautiful location- we were there for a wedding. Our out of town family was able to be in one location, lots of room to hang out, kitchen was just the right size. Our host was wonderful! - checked in with a text each day and answered any questions promptly.

Great Find

The house was built in 1910, but has been recently updated. The rooms were average in size and were well-appointed, with great mattresses and plenty of pillows and blankets. The one room with the twin beds is small and is for younger children. My grandkids didn't mind. The only issue is the one bathroom for the 5 upstairs bedrooms. We worked it out as families do. Some adults used the shower in the master bedroom bathroom on the main floor, and the kids took baths in the main floor bathroom. The house was well stocked with books, games for adults and kids, throws, drinks, medical supplies, and forget-me items. The kitchen had all that you needed, with cabinets clearly marked to help find what you wanted. Two refrigerators, beach towels, USB chargers, dish detergent pods, booster seats, and baby chair, beach toys, kayaks, and a paddle boat were also available. Took the kids to the dock to learn how to fish, and the fish didn't disappoint them. They didn't have to wait, and we had fun catching and releasing. There was great communication with Amy on a few issues that were resolved quickly. It was an easy, "relaxing", and enjoyable week.

Everyone in our group loved the house and location. There were many outside activities to enjoy. The house is beautiful, and views of the bay are amazing. Everything that we needed to prepare meals was there. We had a great family trip and we all decided to return but stay more days!

Great family retreat

We loved our stay at this great house! The host Abby was very easy to work with, super responsive and did a great job setting the house up for guests. They really have everything you need. We had picked this home for the location and size and we were not disappointed. The views were amazing. Even though we had rain every day and were not able to enjoy the outside features, we really enjoyed gathering in the sunroom, playing games and spending time sharing meals at the large dining table. It was perfect in every way!

Awesome girls’ weekend!

The house was perfect for our stay. Abby was super communicative and helpful from the moment we placed the booking. They had all the essentials, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the living room was super spacious for us to all hang out in. We ended up driving to Oswego about 25 minutes away for things to do during the day, since there wasn’t much going on in town for the off-season. Overall, we loved our stay!

Perfect Location - Perfect Property- Perfect Home

The first thing you notice is that the host has taken the time to ensure a perfect stay. There is plenty of everything. Each bedroom has a large flat screen TV with numerous cable channel options. The property gently slopes down to the water. The dock is wonderful and can support a large boat. There are numerous towels, sheets, cups, glasses, and cooking equipment. The windowed room facing the water is amazing. Lots of toys such as kayaks are there for your use. Just a great experience.

The Perfect Family Destination

Our one week stay at Fox Point was exactly what our family needed! From the moment you arrive you are welcomed by a beautiful home with incredible views of the bay. There was plenty of room for our grandchildren to play inside and out. Best of all, Abby and Brandon were so helpful and available if we had any questions! If I could give a rating of 10 I would! Perfect for Family Gathering

This was a perfect spot of all 9 of us (age range from 86-24 in 3 generations) and 2 dogs. There is plenty of space both inside and outside, and the house is well equipped. Abby was a great communicator and a gracious host. We would absolutely come back again!

The best family lake house

Brandon & Abby’s home was an absolute 10/10. They have all of the games you can imagine, amenities were above and beyond and the private beach was an added bonus! They thought of it all! We could have packed 1/4 of the stuff we brought because they already had everything there. The kids loved movie night in the downstairs basement with amazing reclining chairs, just like the theater! We cannot wait to go back! They are also very responsive and always checking in to make sure we felt comfortable and ensure we had everything.we needed. Thank you both!!

Fox Point- a hidden piece of heaven!

Many decades ago, I spotted this piece of property at Fox Point in Fair Haven Bay. Beautiful white house atop a hill with a little cove for swimming, but never saw people there. Well Brandon and Abby Weaver have put their magic touch on the property and it is a piece of heaven! It is our second time renting from them! . This house had plenty of room for our family - 6 bedrooms. The yard is huge and offers areas for soccer, baseball, corn hole and cricket. There are two outside seating areas , one a patio area off the house; the other down by the dock and ready to light a fire pit area in the evening. A floating dock off the main dock provided hours of swimming and games for our teenage grandchildren. Dock was long enough for us to tie up a pontoon boat. Visits from cousins with young children enjoyed wading in from the sandy beach. The inside offered a scenic living room with all 14 being able to sit and watch the Olympics. The house is tastefully decorated,offering quaint corners to read. The basement afforded entertainment with movie seating and a ping pong table. Location is great- morning jogs to the State Park and evening strolls into town for ice cream and dinner.Kitchen and coffee bar are well equipped. Fishing off the dock was plentiful. Thank you Abby and Brandon for providing so much to making our family vacations memorable. We are excited to return for our week “ in Fox Point heaven” for years to come ! Bill and Missy Mercier

Another Amazing Stay

We left a glowing review after our stay here in 2023. This property has everything we could have hoped for as a family of 11 active people. The owners did not settle and made some huge upgrades over the past year. Finishing the basement for the ultimate hang-out room with a big screen TV, recliners, and ping pong table. The new floating dock was a huge hit. Paving the driveway was also another addition. They are also super responsive to any questions or issues. Great hosts!! We will definitely be back for many years to come!

Family Time

4 nights at Fox Point with our favorite people. Beautiful home, great location, plenty of room inside and out. Media room for the rainy days, place to dock our boat for the sunny ones! Our hosts were extremely responsive to any questions or comments. We have stayed in quite a few vacation rental properties and Fox Point is a winner!

Best Vacation Stay Ever!!

What is there not to say about Fox Point Retreat! The view of the bay is unmatched directly across from Colloca Winery. The yard is big with a gorgeous sandy beach and dock. The house is stocked with every amenity you can think of. They have kayaks, games, sand toys, fishing poles, ping pong table, and a theater in the basement. The porch overlooking the bay in stocked with books, toys, games, and crafts. Our large extended family stayed for the July 4th week and had an amazing time. Fair Haven had a ton of activities for the 4th. I highly recommend renting here.

Wonderful R&R

Thoughtful touches enhance this beautiful lakeside home. Every imaginable contingency has been covered, and Abby and Brandon responded immediately to the small issues that arose during our week long stay. Just a perfect spot for a family get-together. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax and reconnect. The little beach, the yard, the proximity to the village and the state park all combined to make this a great vacation home. Siblings & spouses gathering

Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Bedrooms were comfy. Enough space at table for all of us to eat together. Loved all the windows to view the lake. The grounds were spacious and superb. A little piece of heaven all to yourselves. We didn’t leave the premises because it was so beautiful and we enjoyed every minute there. Host was super nice and very responsive. Not a single issue to worry about. Extra amenities and special touches were a nice surprise. This property does not disappoint. So happy we found this gem.

Girls Weekend

We are a group of twelve family & friends , this was our 33rd yearly gathering. We could not have asked for a better location for our gathering. The house & property are beautiful and well maintained. Anything you can think of is there, the house is well stocked & very clean. Beds are all comfortable. Abby and Brandon responded right away to any questions. The Little Sodus Bay lake is gorgeous, water is clear, swimming area is nice. We all recommend this location to families or adult groups like ours.

The perfect family get away!

Staying at Fox Point was truly a dream for our family get-away during the solar eclipse. My husband and I, along with our family, got the chance to enjoy each others' company for an extended long weekend during the solar eclipse in this beautiful home. The large family room was perfect for games and puzzles, relaxing, reading, and just spending time with one another. We loved having the big dining room table that we could all eat around, a fully stocked kitchen to cook meals in, and the fire pit by the lake for chilly evenings. Abby and Brandon were so accommodating, even stopping by to fix a smoke alarm that needed a battery replacement, and were responsive to our needs. They left us snacks and sodas for the kids, a full coffee bar, and even solar eclipse glasses! We loved having the dock and bay nearby, as my husband brought his RC boat and plane to entertain our niece and nephew. Abby also gave us lots of hiking recommendations nearby, and we enjoyed hikes as a family at Chimney Bluffs and Sterling Nature Center at her suggestion. We also enjoyed Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing, a suggestion of Brandon's! We loved having all the sleeping spaces, a lovely clean home, and the amenities to boot. We hope to return someday!!!

The Best

We were in for a wedding , but that was secondary to the primary reason of having my 4 kids with my 3 grandkids being together for the first time. No one lives in the area, so logistics of airport pick ups and driving in from all over the east coast was a juggling act. Having such a ready, comfortable , easy , sweet looking place , was huge in our happy , successful weekend. We had everything you need, to a great coffee station , to a well stocked kitchen and gifts for a warm greeting.,,,,the owners were terrific ! I could go on and on but the one word I have for the house, Wonderful! Thanks Again

The Perfect Getaway Spot

This beautiful spacious home was a perfect spot or our friends retreat. With six beautifully decorated bedrooms we each had our our space. The huge dining room table easily seats 10 people and three bathrooms is definitely a plus with a large group. The massive living room / great room had tons of comfortable seating, but its best feature was the panoramic view of Sodus Bay. Perhaps my favorite spot inside is the small enclosed porch/sun room on the second floor overlooking the lake- a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea and take in the scenery. Of course the big private yard with dock, firepits and its private beach made enjoying the view so much more pleasurable. Abby and Brandon were wonderful hosts. Abby always responded right away to any request and was super accommodating. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable in their beautiful home. We can't wait to come back!
