"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 "

"The accommodation is a small studio flat which was well furnished and comfortable. Unfortunately, when the windows opened the road noise is too great to leave open and the room very warm so for me, not comfortable due to being too hot and poor quality sleep. "Angie is a lovely warm welcoming lady , nothing was a bother , only staid one night as was having a meal in the Fox Covert next door which is really great place , The cottage was a propped cottage feel , and could sleep upto 6 but was only the two of us , proper kitchen and shower n toilet was compact but everything you needed , lovely place to stay and will be back , also location is good for all local amenities and local attractions, Thank you "

Room not great at keeping noise out - could hear footsteps overhead from residents upstairs and voices carried across the count yard late at night. "On arrival, getting the keys was a simple process, however, as soon as we got in, we could see the setup was unusual. Yes there are 3 "bedroom", or at least 3 separate areas with beds. "I had a wonderful 5-day stay at Byre Cottage in North Yorkshire. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, and full of character, with a lovely fireplace that made the evenings especially relaxing and warm. The location is absolutely stunning, set between peaceful farmland and rolling hills, surrounded by nature and wildlife.
