"Wonderful guest house in great location overlooking the beach. Free parking in front of the guest house and opposite the coop. Great room and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Couldn’t believe we saw seals in the harbour and a great place for scuba diving."

The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. "Had a 2 night stay. Booked this property as it had an elevator and travelling with an elderly parent with reduced mobility. On arrival late in the evening we learned that both elevators were out of order. We were on the 3rd floor with no other suitable rooms available. With assistance from staff and another guest we made it to the room. We were able to switch to a lower room the next morning. All staff were very apologetic and went out of their way to help us make the stay positive...

"The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem.
