"Extraordinary property. Beautifully designed and maintained. Location perfect for exploring Porcupine Mt State Park. Lovely beach for swimming and rock hounding. (For you geology buffs, we saw examples Omars and Oolitic jasper- glacial erratics from Hudson Bay’s Belcher islands.)We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fireplaces but would have appreciated brief instructions re: need to ignite pilot lights which we did eventually figure out. Thank you for sharing this amazing home!"

"The sweetest, coziest little Vrbo in a great location on the south shores of Superior. The hosts clearly care about their guests experience and are attentive to details, provide all the comforts and even some extra little treats! We felt immediately at home and were thrilled at how easy we could get to the lake in the clouds and agate beach, as well as the local beach right down the road! So worth it! Would go back in a heartbeat. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's house. It was large, spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Its a good location, close to the 5 Black River waterfalls in the Ottawa National forest and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park plus much more. Lots to see and do in the area. "

"We had a fabulous stay! Very close to waterfalls and amazing hiking. The fall colors were just amazing. The hosts were great, the home was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved getting cozy by the fireplace during the couple chilly nights we had. We definitely hope to return!!"

"Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies."

"Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. We are looking forward to booking again for next year."
