The only thing missing from this slice of heaven is an angel or two.
You'll be blown away the minute you step through the door. Amazing direct ocean views once you step past the entrance. This beach house has top-notch finishes, huge ocean-facing windows, tasteful yet comfy furniture, state-of-the art televisions, comfortable beds with quality bedding. And that kitchen! You're going to want to take it home with you. I know I did! I was surprised at how well stocked it was, too. From spices to cookware to bakeware to dinnerware. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner here.
There's a covered lanai with lighting so you can sit outside listening to the waves and looking at the stars all night long. The backyard is a nice sized grassy area with a very short fence to separate it from the sandy beach area. The beach area has an upper terrace with a short sea wall drop off to the beach that abuts the ocean. That portion of the beach varies in width as the tides change but it's relatively narrow and very lightly used by neighbors. IWe bought a hammock to hang between the palm trees for a relaxing place to stretch out and read.
There are a few negatives but the pluses far outweigh them. We've booked another month already. The neighborhood isn't very walkable and looks a bit down at the heels. Our biggest issue was with the neighbor's barking dogs. Multiple times a day, they'd get set off by something and bark for minutes at a time. One owner will screech at them to stop which is as bad or worse than the barking. At least they're little dogs.
