We came to Beechworth to ride the High Country cycling trails & surrounding gravel roads . Yakandandah was our favorite little village with a bustling vibe. Highly recommend Bare accommodation if you want to be in town & walking distance to local amenities this is a great spot . Very clean & well appointed. "

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Number Forty Two. The architecturally designed house is terrific - rammed earth walls, timber ceilings and beams, sculptured metal supports. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of crockery and utensils. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated due to the very hot weather that Beechworth experienced during our stay. The dossier on the coffee table covering the tourist attractions, amenities and hospitality venues was amazing as it also included an informative history of Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. "The room had a hole in the wall, there was a broken window, the carpet was dirty, there were a lot of cobwebs in the ceiling, and the noise during the night coming from the pub was too much to bear. There is no restroom inside the room, although, the 4 shared restrooms were ok. I would totally not recommend this place."
