"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely.
We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb.
My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and...

"The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning."

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was very run down, the floor boards were particularly creaky and everything about the property seemed run down. There were no power points near the bed and the bed was very low and too soft."

"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."
