It was quiet clean and the gentlemen that were working were very nice. It is also right next to a gas station/convenience store. just a nice place and a great stay for us.

The building was musty and reeked an odd odor upon entering. No breakfast or coffee available as advertised. The shower head was black with mold. Water was only lukewarm. Overpriced to say the least.

We have stayed here before but now something was different. I don't believe the same owner have this hotel. EVERYTHING is tge bare minimum, right down to the luke warm water in the showers. We will not be returning to this one for sure!

Boxes EVERYWHERE
Behind the office area was full of boxes. Some stacked 10 high. They were in the hallway and in a small room behind the office. Very messy and I thought a little suspicious.

This motel needs a complete renivation. The rooms are outdated and the beddings are old. Even the towels are course. The hole building smelt of Asian cooking. There was absolutely no breakfast of any kind and even NO COFFEE provided up front. The only coffee available was that from a ONE cup pot in the room. We were in room 117 and the heater in it was defective as it was making a loud rattling/grinding sound. It has either a bearing going out in the motor or the fan is bad. There is no question that the manager of the place would have been well aware of this problem as it was rattling when we entered the room. The only contact that the manager had with us was his phone call at exactly 11am to tell us it was checkout time? Last time we will be staying there.

Room key didn't work twice; once at 2am (returning from job site). Breakfast was stated on the wall ("Breakfast Monday - Friday 6am - 9am") - I have video of a completely empty lobby. Room was clean; wireless worked. In summary, it's a bed for $105 a night - seems excessive. From what I understand, he's the only hotel in town, so I guess you can charge what you want.

Many broken things that appear to have been ignored for a long time, I’ve machine down too, and breakfast was very lackluster. I will be coming back to Evansville, but staying anywhere else (even if I have to drive from further away).

The staff was friendly, but the hotel needs some TLC. The key lock mechanism on our door did not work properly and the deadbolt would not work. There was a distinct smell of food throughout the hotel.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was very convenient to the event we attended. Breakfast was almost nonexistent so they shouldn’t bother advertising it. We basically showered and slept there so can’t comment on anything else.

- very clean except 3 dark stains on the carpet floor in rm 109 - housekeeping was banging on my door at 920am...I was still there and getting ready - checkout is 11am - continental breakfast was mostly emptied by 930am - limited choices and no hot water for oatmeal

Avoid this motel! We were informed there was NO HOT WATER upon our check-in and that it would not be repaired for three days! The next morning, we saw there was no breakfast in the unlit breakfast room or coffee in the dark lobby corner. When someone finally responded to the buzzer and came to the front desk, he literally laughed! and said, "No, we don't have a breakfast" (though the website and lobby sign states otherwise). Everything was so remarkably awful, it was indeed almost laughable.

we had given you a choice to get full refund and you had declined the offer so why do you complain nowwe dont have full breakfast out but we do have some items for breakfast

Older building and grounds were very clean and everything worked well. Disappointed that Towels were thin & only one set per person in a double room. Advertised “free breakfast” but only had cold cereal, milk & juice. Fortunately, fast food, gas & grocery store were nearby.

The parking lot is lit well and feels safe. The lobby and room are very clean and well maintained. I was impressed with how clean the shower and tub are. Very happy with everything.

I was a little disappointed; we arrived and the hotel had 2 large pick up trucks in the front lot that had flat tires. Even though I like East Indian food, I did not not want my hotel to smell of Indian food. The jet tub didn’t work; I had to call the front desk in which the staff said, “ I can come down there and fix it for you”. Lucky my guy was with me other wise I would have felt unsafe. And my guy had to fix it any way. Then to top it off there was no breakfast options! I was hoping for at least some fruit and cereal. . . . But I ended up just going to the piggly wiggly

The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean with a comfortable bed. The man at the front desk was very friendly he quickly checked us in. Later I went to the front desk because I forgot my toothbrush and he promptly provided me with one. If they had better breakfast selections such as proteins like yogurt and hard-boiled eggs and etc. they would be considered excellent. Also they offer oatmeal but no microwave in the breakfast area to heat it up. Or even hot water. I had to take it back to my room. They also have hot tea packets but again no hot water. I will definitely stay at this hotel again because after all I just need a nice quiet comfortable bed to sleep in at an affordable price. I can always go to the local diner for a good breakfast. Or stop at the Piggly Wiggly next door and bring something to my room as they do have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

Glad to have a nice place to stay while traveling. Went for a run in the morning and there were a lot of safe places to run. Fast food was within walking distance and the locals were friendly. The only complaint was there was no breakfast. They said the coffee maker/WiFi all went out together, but they didn't offer any other food either. But really nice staff, and we went to Mcdonald's for breakfast.

Maybe the only hotel in Evansville. Not far from Madison (around 30 mins) but definitely worth it for the cost. Though they are short on staff the manager was very helpful and provided everything we needed.

no frills-but nice

Good basic motel. Not something for the family, in that no pool and no breakfast available. Location is good. Just out of downtown. If you should have children with you, McDonald's is just across the parking lot. No roads to cross. Everything seemed to be clean and comfortable.
