We had a trip booked in advance and we had a really heavy emergency, and we tried to contact the hotel if there was any way we could reschedule or get a refund as having an emergency was not in our plans at all. They have a strict non-refundable policy so if you may have an family emergencies don’t book here because they don’t care!

We had a great time at Crag’s! It’s a beautiful historic building with lots of character. I would definitely recommend this lodge. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

We loved it here. It was quiet as it was off season and we didn't see any other guests during our stay. It was very peaceful.

Comfortable stay
I had a great stay! I had a room on the third floor and it was quite roomy for the price. I had a small kitchenette along with the usual living area, bathroom, bedroom. The hotel is in a convenient place for the park and for downtown. The staff were helpful and i loved the fireplace in the lobby.

Best place to stay in Estes Park
We loved our 9-night stay and didn’t want to leave. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen area was well equipped and all of our suite was spotless. Linens were high quality as was glassware. The hot tub was fantastic and all staff were absolutely delightful. It was the perfect location- close to town, away from traffic and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed walking to town for dinner, and had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Perfectly located to go any direction any time of day. Rustic that fits the city & the Rockies. The staff, Barb, Rose etc. are simply so sweet & absolutely amazing.

We had a 1 bdrm with 2 bathrooms that made it extra nice. Very comfortable main lobby with fireplace and 2 sitting areas along with a restaurant and lounge. An extra perk was on site laundry that was free to use. Very nice property

The property itself was not bad. Pretty accurate description of what the room would be like. My biggest reason for not giving the stay more stars is that I keep getting calls from their parent company, Diamond Resorts, with extremely salesy callers that try to sell me vacation packages. I am never staying here, or at any of their other properties again for this reason. Please tell your parent company to stop calling and trying to sell me things!

The Lodge has a great historical atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful from checkin to checkout. We stayed in a wonderful room looking over the city and could hear the elks from the lobby. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel more and its unique ambiance.

Weekend stay
Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. The room had a small kitchenette with all the necessities. The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park and had several restaurants near by. The view from the restaurant inside the hotel was beautiful!

A beautiful historic property near Rocky Mountain National Park! Our suites were large and had everything you might need. Everything was very well maintained and staff was super friendly! So close to shops,restaurants and entertainment! We loved our stay there!

We had a great 3 night stay. The location is super easy to get to downtown and RMNP plus the views are really good! Dinner was excellent as well!

Better than expected
Better than I expected. I live somewhat locally (Fort Collins) and needed a room due to a wedding. The 2 room unit with pullout suited our family needs and was very comfortable and appointed. Highly recommend. Alot of mountain hotels aren’t that great so my expectations weren’t high but I would certainly use the Crag lodge again and may even use it now for positioning to do longer hikes in RMNP so I don’t have to get up at 3am and drive to the park in the wee hours of the morning. I’m gettin to old for that so staying here will make things nice!

Crag’s Lodge was a great home base for the weekend while attending a friend’s wedding. The hotel shows its age, but the rooms are generously sized and spotlessly clean. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but the room stayed comfortably cool even during an especially hot summer. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

Thank you for staying with us! I'm sorry that the bathroom was small, unfortunately in some of the rooms certain compromises had to be made when they were redone to fit the plumbing.
