Tranquil and private retreat
Overall was such a lovely experience. The cabin was charming with a wraparound deck with forest views, the sounds of the stream below, and viewing of some elk one evening. Although not far off the main highway, it felt like you were miles in the forest.

Comfortable cabin in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful stay with family in this very comfortable cabin in a stunning location. Very easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The wifi worked very well.

Great Getaway
We enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin but the easy drive into town. The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable. The check in/out process was easy. The owners were responsive to questions. We plan to visit the cabin again.

Wonderful!!!
We spent 3 nights during Spring Break at this property! It was spectacular! Location was beautiful! Not too far from Estes but felt like we were truly in the wilderness. Traveled with my husband, 15 year old, and twin 11year olds…all boys! We scouted all over outside, lots of games of hide and seek in the snow. Enjoyed the sleds…quite the bonus! Weather was beautiful, even had lunch on the deck over looking the snow and enjoying the beautiful views of Twin Sisters. We received 8” of snow our last night. The drive was cleared before 8:30 the next morning for us, making for an easy departure! Only downside was the low water pressure in the DS bathroom. We quickly figured out not to use any water anywhere else while someone was in that shower…so not a big deal after that. You just don’t want to be washing your long hair when it goes to low flow. :o) The vrbo agents for this property were very quick to respond and check-in/out was so simple! This is definitely one of our favorite places! We plan to try it in the summer sometime so we can do more hiking! Thank you!

Peaceful Mountain Cabin
MY husband and I had a 5 star experience at this adorable cabin. It is wonderfully located providing both remote feel in nature and proximity to multiple RMNP entrances, Estes Park, Local breweries, and highway 7 which is gorgeous route to Red Rocks Amp which we did one night and stayed in Morrison. The cabin porch and grill was a fun and beautiful in the afternoons after hiking all day. Cabin has big windows which is great for viewing the beautiful property. Would definitely recommend for adults or families as property is remote and children can play in the big yard.

October Snow Fun
We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! The accommodations were cozy and comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials. My favorite feature was the view! There are picture windows in every room of the main floor with breathtaking views of the property and the mountains. I woke up early each morning to go upstairs and peek over the pine trees to see the sun rising. Each night we had a crackling fire in the living room fireplace. Our days were filled with hiking and playing in the snow, on the property and at nearby Rocky Mountain National Park (20 min to entry gate). A 2-mile drive got us to Lily Lake for excellent hiking, fishing, and cell service. We were blessed to get nearly 18" of snow in 2 days, so our kids had a blast with the sleds and snowshoes that were at the cabin. Because we ended up with so much snow, we were glad to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up the last part of the driveway and navigate the curvy mountain roads. The location is at least 1.5 hours from Denver Airport. Thank you to Diane for being the best host we've ever had. She was so helpful in answering questions and ensuring a great stay. She even hooked us up with fishing poles. We will always treasure the memories we made at the Enchanted Cabin in Estes Park!

A True Break From Reality!
Our stay at the cabin was perfect and everything as advertised. It was a truely secluded retreat from the realities of the day and served as the perfect location to use as our home base for day hikes into the Rockies. We took one of Diane's recommended hikes from her guest book that turned out amazing. The views from the porch were spectacular especially at sunrise. There was more than enough space for 3 adults, the kitchen was stocked with all you need, including a skillet for pancakes! The hot water was quick to respond and lasted. I will definitely return on my next Rocky Mountain Adventure.

Perfect Fall Stay
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cabin last week. We watched a bobcat chase a rabbit right outside the living room window. We were awoken to the sounds of elk bugling every morning and watched a herd walk through the property on their way up the mountain for the day. Days were spent hiking in RMNP, shopping downtown and taking in all that Estes Park has to offer. I’d highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for something a little more rustic but has all the comforts of home. We’d definitely stay here again! Fabulous hosts who have gone out of their way to ensure their guests are comfortable. Thanks Diane and Christian for your hospitality!

Great spot in your own splendid mountain get away.
This cabin is an excellent choice for those who are interested in experiencing the beauty of the area around RMNP. It is only a 20 ride from Estes but it seems like you’re in your own national park. 10 acres and you don’t see your neighbors - but you do so some elk and deer who wander through now and then. Beautiful surroundings, can see the mountains from the deck. We literally walked 1/2 mile to a trailhead that took us to Storm Pass - a 6 mile round trip with a 1000 foot elevation climb - nice! The unit was very well maintained and stocked - there was nothing we needed or wanted that wasn’t there. The listing is highly accurate. We had no need to contact the owners during our stay but they made sure to check that all was ok with us. We will go back!

Perfect getaway place !!
You have to see this place to believe it. The peace and tranquility of the mountains and location are just amazing. BEST sleep I’ve had in years. Our party of four all agreed. Amazing views from all windows. Contact with the owners is so easy and they were so helpful. The cabin has all the amenities we needed and then some. We will definitely be returning!!!

Private Mountain Getaway
My family and I have stayed in numerous VRBO rentals but this one tops them all. We were looking for a private cabin in the mountains and this one exceeded our expectations . Beautiful, comfortable and well kept cabin with all the amenities we needed. The private location gave us the feeling of being away from it all. After our hikes we enjoyed relaxing on the deck and taking in the captivating mountain views and cool mountain breezes. The owners are wonderful and very attentive to your needs. This was a perfect getaway and we will definitely return for another relaxing vacation.

Wonderful Stay
We had traveled to this location with our 4 children. We had originally planed on 3 additional adults being with us but due to some last min health issues they did not come. So here is my honest review. Staying at this house was amazing. The location was so secluded and private. I enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning in the total peace and quiet. The house was beyond well equiped and had so many little extras. The kids LOVED the books and games! Plenty of towels, toliet paper, dishes, dish soap, heck even shampoo in the shower! Seriously felt like walking into a home someone lives in dailly. Everything was well kept, very clean. We did have one small issue with getting the upstairs shower to work but we just all used the downstairs one and didn't worry about it. The ONLY negative thing I could say (because I want to be totally honest) if our entire party would have been able to go with us we did feel as if we would have been a bit cramped. The house isn't huge, the kitchen/dining isn't huge, the bedrooms are not huge BUT for our family of 6 it was perfect! We saw plenty of wildlife in the area, and we LOVED Lily lake which is right down the road, I think we spent 3 out of the 5 evenings there! The house is roughly 15-20 mins from town, which we did not mind. Wonderful stay, thank you SO SO much for making our stay perfect.

Beautiful and secluded cabin
We absolutely loved this cabin and it’s more secluded location. It offered everything one would want for a peaceful and cozy autumn mountain cabin experience. We played on the ten acre property with the kids, went hiking, enjoyed dinner with a panoramic view of the mountains from the dining table. We relaxed after the sun went down with hot chocolate and games by the fireplace. We woke every morning to a beautiful sunrise followed by blue skies and fresh mountain air. The owners of the cabin were extremely kind and attentive hosts, and were helpful in providing everything we needed to make our stay everything we had hoped for.

Everything we imagined and more!
By far this was the most well equipped vacation rental our group has experienced! Diane and Christian provided a nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and all of us loved the charm of the house and property. Amazing Property
The cabin and woods exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean, the cabin had everything we needed, and the setting was absolutely perfect. Fabulous stay
We loved our stay at Enchantment Cabin. It was perfectly located to town and areas of the park like Wild Basin. Great kitchen with dining table that was perfect for evening dinners after a day of hiking, fishing and rafting. Windows of spectacular views from all rooms in the house. It was great just to hike the cabin property which is on 10 acres.

Great experience
We had a great week with our adult children here. It was very close to the Longs Peak trailhead and to RMNP entrance, loved the location and the peacefulness. The kitchen was well equipped and enjoyed the games and puzzles. We watched chipmunks and rabbits play from the windows, saw a herd of elk in the field by the entrance, and even saw a black bear cub one morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!
June 17-22, 2018 This cabin was everything I was hoping it would be! I was looking for a semi remote cabin in the mountains for my family of 8 from Wisconsin to vacation in. This adorable cabin was on 10 acres remote enough to where we never shut our blinds but close enough to Estes Park (20 min) in case we needed to get anything. When we arrived the cabin was spotless and invitingly set up. After our long hikes in RMNP my family would come back and make dinner in the fully equipt kitchen and then hang out and play cards or games on the wrap around porch or large kitchen table. The views from the cabin were incredible. I cant say enough about this cabin. If we ever come back to this area this is the first place I would try to get to stay in again!

Everything the description says it is ...
Our family of 4 spent a week at the cabin, it was fantastic. The owners have thought of all the details as the cabin was very well furnished. We hiked everyday in and around RMNP and the location of the cabin was absolutely perfect. The cabin was plenty roomy for our family and very private, bringing a real sense of relaxation and serenity after those long day hikes. The stream behind the cabin was a hit with the kids! I can't wait to come back and stay here again!!

Exactly What We Desired
We stayed in late Sept / early October 2017. The Enchanted Cabin was exactly what we hoped it would be and exactly what it was represented to be. The setting is private and offers a complete and total connection to nature without distractions. The cabin is well-furnished, warm and welcoming, comfortable, spotless, and instantly relaxing. Everything we needed was there and in good order, and a small herd of elk made frequent appearances in the mornings. Due to the high elevation of the property (about 9000 ft), we did get some early snow that was deep enough to discourage us from leaving the cabin for a day, but that was a pleasant treat as well. The only downside for this pair of eastern lowlanders who normally live at about Elevation 400 was that the transition to Elevation 9000 did result in some moderate altitude sickness lasting several days. Next time I would stay in Denver for more than 1 night to get the physical acclimation process further underway. The aspens were gorgeous, the weather was really nice for hiking, and the town of Estes Park was not overly crowded except on the weekends. All in all, we were totally satisfied with our fall vacation.

Best Ever
When we drove up to the cabin, we just sat and stared. It was in the perfect setting. Then when we opened the door it was the perfect cabin. It is very convenient to Estes Park. The beds are comfortable and that is a must. It is so quiet and peaceful. We could find nothing wrong with anything about the cabin and the owners are super courteous. We hope we get the opportunity to come back. Thanks for a great experience.

Beautiful cabin, very secluded
This cabin was in a fantastic location. 10-15 min from Estes Park, it is set in an area that has a few neighbors, but none that you can see. Elk bugling at night was especially surreal. Diane was very helpful, and the rental process was very smooth. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home in stunning setting
We have been coming to the Estes Park area for many years and this is one of the best rental homes that we have stayed in. Communication with the owners was stellar and they provide in depth information on the house before we arrived. The house is thoughtfully stocked not only in the kitchen area but also with games, CDs and outdoor equipment. The house has a beautiful wrap around deck on two sides where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and our evenings sipping wine. The views from the deck are breathtaking and serene. The surroundings were very quite, especially in the evenings and we experienced very little drive by traffic. The house is very close to RMNP and the town of Estes Park, so we shopped for food on a daily bases on the way back from our daily activities. If you are looking for a nice, quiet stay in the mountains, we would highly recommend this home.

Perfect Family Cabin
We had a wonderful stay at the Enchanted Cabin. Diane and Christian were great hosts. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and hassle-free. The home was exactly what we needed for our two families. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals; there was plenty of room for everyone; and we enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace every night after a day of hiking in the park. The kids loved the upstairs “kids loft” with children's furniture, toys, and a closet hideout. The location was perfect for us. The huge property with boulders, trees, etc. was just beautiful and provided a play area for the kids. We were just far enough from the crowds in town to feel like we were on a mountain adventure, but were still within easy reach of everything we needed. It was only a 20 minute or so drive into the Beaver Meadows park entrance. And we were even closer to the less-crowded Wild Basin park entrance (with the kid-friendly Ouzel Falls hike) as well as Lily Lake (a great short evening hike and wildlife spot for the kids). I can't imagine a better location for our family's Rocky Mountain vacation. We even woke up one morning to find a herd of elk enjoying breakfast right outside the cabin windows! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Peaceful and relaxing!
This was just a lovely little cabin that's close enough to Estes Park, but far enough away as well. It's an older property, but beautifully updated. We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note and had no issues while there. Close to hiking, close to town, and so nice to hang at the house, too!

We loved it! It's an amazing cabin set on the side of a mountain. It's just breathtaking!!
We had a fantastic time at this amazing cabin. It has everything you need and the beds were so comfortable. The views were breathtaking, and we loved seeing all the chipmunks, squirrels, elk, and deer. I hope that we can return one day in the near future! If you want to take a trip to Estes Park; you definitely want to stay at the Enchanted Cabin.

From the initial booking to after our stay Diane was attentive and personable. She took care of all details- welcoming us and providing helpful information on the property and the area. Even texting that the cabin was ready a little early if we wanted to check in. The cabin itself was just as advertised- enchanting! The location was secluded yet easy to get to town, beautiful views from each room, and supplied with great amenities. Most comfortable beds ever. I would recommend Diane and her cabin to everyone! We had the perfect family vacation with our daughter's family there. Plenty of toys and supplies for a 2 yr old! Also games for adults but we were always outside exploring and never got to play any!! We're ready to go back!

Hidden away yet close to everything
This home was exactly what we wanted...comfortable amenities in a cozy cabin feel that felt remote yet was close (10 minutes) to Estes Park. With hiking trails and Longs Peak less than five minutes away it was ideally located for our family's outdoor adventures. Fantastic stay and excellent communication from owners. Beautiful Cabin, Perfect Location - Vacation to Remember
What a perfect way to unwind and refresh in the mountains. We brought 2 couples and our 2 daughters, both under 12 yrs old, to this perfect cabin for a fun summer vacation. There was the plenty of room for all of us, all the amenities you could want with no neighbors in sight. We spent days hiking the various trails, horseback riding or exploring Estes Park, CO which was only a 15 minute drive away. In the evenings we would play board games, sit on the beautiful porch or have a smore by the fireplace inside. The creek out back was a special treat and the girls spent most mornings discovering the creek and exploring the rocks and area around the house. We were greeting by a calm Moose out the back of the house on one of our last days and a sweet family of Elk grazed in a field on our way in to the cabin. This was the perfect mix of things to do and relaxing breezes as we spent one day lounging and resting in the cabin. Everyone was in love with our trip and there were many "I don't want to leave!" and "Can we please come back again!" comments on our final days of the vacation. Thank you Diane for checking in with us, providing a relaxing home and being attentive to us as we planned our vacation. This cabin is on our list of Must Come Backs!

Amazing cabin and property!
This cabin is a gem tucked away on a beautiful, quiet hillside - made our stay in Estes even better! Close enough to Estes but far enough away to get out of the hustle and bustle. Loved that we had so much room around us- our own creek running through the backyard. Elk walking through our yard in the evening. This cabin has it all! We had 6 adults and 2 children and plenty of room. Don't miss out on this cabin!!! Diane and Christian were perfect hosts

Great Place / Great Hosts
I was very happy with the location, it's very pretty and private. There was rare May snow storm that dropped 4 feet of snow in May. The hosts handled the situation very well and were attentive, fair, and made sure someone came by to check on us. I was very impressed with how they approached it. Very clean, comfortable place. Good location, pretty easy to get to town and it was a nice drive. probably another 1500 ft of elevation.
