This reservation is through Vacasa, a booking agency that lists on VRBO. While the property was beautiful and well maintained, Vacasa was not responsive to our needs during this stay. We arrived (in the evening after dark) at the house and there were no towels. When I tried to be in contact with Vacasa, I was unable to talk to anyone. We eventually found the towels, still wet in the dryer. Also, please be aware that there are numerous warnings about bears in the vicinity, and how to deal with trash. On our stay, we woke up the morning after we arrived (evening arrival after dark) to discover that the last renters had left unsecured garbage, and a bear had gotten into the cans, strewing containers with food remnants all over the place. Additionally, there were at least 3 piles of bear droppings within 15 feet of the entry door. I called the main Vacasa line, the on site manager, and the owners number, with no answer. Finally someone from Vacasa (on site manager?) texted me back and assured me they would send the clean up crew to clean up the garbage. That crew did not arrive throughout the length of our 3 night stay. On the plus side Vacasa refunded our "cleaning" fee since they never cleaned up, but we still spent a ton of monye to stay at a property that was marred by trash and a fear of bears returning.
As I said, the property is beautiful. It is a great location, minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, with delicious Cinnamon Buns available right down the road towards town. The porch was great for stargazing and hanging out after the kids went to sleep. But the management company left much to be desired.
