Very spacious house
This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. The negatives were the poor quality of the main couch and several of the chairs were unsteady. The lighting in many of the rooms didn’t work or weren’t bright enough. The property could use some furniture and lighting upgrades for sure. But overall it was a positive experience for everybody especially the games for the younger children.

Overall, a great stay.
The property is just as advertised, and was absolutely great - size and layout wise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with three exceptions, one which has been mentioned in several prior reviews: There are a lot of light bulbs out in the home. The ceilings are high, so that may be the problem. But the lights were totally out on the steps at the front entry, so we had to use our phone flashlights. Several windows are broken and don’t close. The most serious was the upper hallway restroom door, the knob lock doesn’t work and it kept locking people in the restroom. I texted about that. So, really, a great house overall, it just needs a few hours of a handyman’s time to keep it spectacular.

Great location but needs lots of updates
The beds were comfortable and location was nice but the place needs lots of updates. A number of windows were broken and would not close all the way, some of the bathroom doors would not lock, pool table was wobbly and you could not play a serious game on it, ping pong paddles were completely destroyed and not usable, host did not respond to any messages I sent him on the VRBO app, internet was unreliable, because the internet was unreliable we could not use the movie theatre room, a few of the seats in the movie theatre room were not secured to the floor, smoke detector was uninstalled, kitchen sink leaked profusely into the cabinets below, and numerous other things. A lot of small annoying things. Again I tried to tell the host a few of these things but after check in they did not respond.

Large home-needs some upkeep.
House was large enough. Plenty of areas for your family to spread out and enjoy time. The yard is small and pictures make it seem it is out more secluded and it is not. Neighborhood was quiet. Multiple lights did not work in the house. Main fan in living room didn’t work. The ping pong and pool table very used paddles no rubber on them, pool table very damaged. The cinema room was great, just watch the tack strips nails were sticking out and one of the seats was coming out of the floor. Bean bag set was broken. Knobs on hot tub were missing. When we moved a chair out to use from table, screw fell out. The master bedroom shower-will only produce scolding HOT water-unable to turn down. Lots of space, house just needs some upkeep-I am sure many family’s use it and makes it hard to keep maintained. These are little things that could be fixed for the price point.

Overall the place was OK. Spending a few thousand dollars could improve some things inside. Not all windows would open and some would not close all the way. The carpeting could be improved also in areas. Some outlets did not have covers on them. The chairs in the theater room are a little loose and move when sitting in them. The ignition on the grill didn't work, fan in upstairs bathroom doesn't work. Jam video game doesn't always work and joy stick on player 1 on NBA jam doesn't always work. One of the mattresses on the bed upstairs was very stiff. On the good side the elk and mule deer passing by right outside the windows was fantastic. Location is also good.

Loved this house
This house worked extremely well for our family. We had 15 people (10 adults and 5 children under the age of 6). The house was clean and had everything we needed. We saw wildlife in the backyard every morning and evening. There was plenty of things for the kids to do and the theater room was a hit. I would recommend this house and if we ever come back to this area would love the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you Alex and Hannah!

Great family time
The amenities and space exceeded our expectations for our family of twelve. We had lots of fun playing frisbee golf, ping pong matches, enjoying the theatre and hot tub when not hiking or enjoying all that Estes Park and RMNP has to offer. Great family time!

Amazingly beautiful home and area!
First, we loved our family of 12 gathering in this beautiful home. The hot tub, arcade room, movie room and ping pong table were used a ton! Wildlife was everywhere! An elk actually calved under the porch while we were there! Some things you should know before going-the home needs some repairs done. The bunk bed is so rickety no one could sleep on the top bunk and the bottom bunk is broken by the feet, the pool table is basically unplayable it slopes so much to one end and is so wobbly. The garbage disposal doesn’t work, a lamp is broken, bedroom blinds broken with ropes to hold them up, front door keypad pretty unreliable, etc I had read past reviews with these concerns and assumed they’d been repaired when I booked, but haven’t been I did contact the owner about a tv not working and someone arrived to fix it within hours. For our family it was still amazing and we’d stay here again for sure!

Friends annual retreat

Worst Short-Term Rental Experience Ever, Creepy Sign in kitchen read "We see U".
Our beautiful Estes Park Christmas with family was not because of our experience with these property owners. The owner or manager never had the decency to respond to our many private messages. They did, in what appears to be retaliation, try to charge us fines for false accusations now under dispute. A planted piece of marijuana in middle of carpet...really! When looking at other reviews you will see similar complaints as ours. See a below message(copy and pasted)sent to owner privately but now publicly. "Good morning. We never did hear back from Anna. I am sending this to you as I do not want to put this on a public forum. Let me first say we had a wonderful time in Estes park with our family. Your home is well appointed for us. We have traveled the world staying in short term rentals. A matter of fact it is our preferred way to lodge. We also have owned two short term rentals and received 5 star ratings year after year. I tell you this so hopefully you can realize we have been on both sides of the short term rental arena and truly do speak from experience. This is the first time I have ever felt the need and taken the time to share with the owner It is not just the fact that the hot tub didn’t work. It’s also a plethora of other small things that would have been completely overlooked if there weren’t so many. To name a few…no kitchen mitts and two of us burned ourselves, we discovered the garbage compactor didn’t work only after having throwing things in it, the outside heat lamp didn’t work, picture on your listing showing the fire pit which we are not allowed to use, there is no salt provided for slippery walkways, we tried to grill our Christmas dinner to find the propane tank was empty, there are blown bulbs throughout the house, no shower curtain liner downstairs, breakers kept blowing and had to be flipped over and over, house is not thoroughly clean (example-tons of trash under couches and animal urine smell), couldn’t play ping pong because paddles are shot, unsteady pool table couldn’t be used, bunk beds shakes badly, missing window blinds in basement, left bedroom window won’t close, family room blinds don’t lower. There are many more little things but this is just to give you an idea. I know when you are not present on site there is no way to know unless someone shares. I hope you understand the intent is just to make you aware. We hope you have a blessed 2023." PS-dishwasher run, beds stripped, linens in laundry room, garbage out

We appreciate when our guests take the time to leave reviews and we take those reviews seriously. We also know that many guests have decided to use this platform to berate hosts and their homes for various reasons. We are not new to vacation hosting, and unfortunately we have seen a dramatic shift in guests behaviors, reviews and extortion tactics. Amazing for the whole family!
This cabin was ideal for our family who hasn't been all together in years. Estes Park is special for us b/c another family member was married there just before the pandemic and it was the last time we were all together. The location is superior b/c you are close enough to town to easily access it anytime but still in nature for walks and to see the amazing wildlife. The cabin itself is clean and literally offers something for all ages. However, it could use some TLC as there were a few broken or missing window coverings and/or window cranks for opening windows in addition to many light bulbs being burnt out and not replaced. To be expected if this property is only used as a rental so that stuff can be overlooked. The one complaint is the lack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. In the past 15 yrs, we have stayed dozens of places all over the US and I have owned properties that I rent all over the US. Only two did not provide a respectable amount of paper products and this cabin is one. Not ensuring there is at least enough toilet paper to cover one roll per day per bathroom for your guests comes off as cheap and uncaring. We had 16 people in the cabin so we had no choice but to go to the store on Thanksgiving day to get more toilet paper and other necessities.

We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. So that our future guests are not misled, We provide two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and two rolls of paper towels which is a generous start. We state clearly in our guidelines the things guests will start with and things they are responsible for! The lightbulbs mentioned unfortunately were user error. We check and replace lightbulbs between every guest. Any issues our guests have are reasonably resolved. There are some windows without coverings, they are not missing and they are not necessary on some windows. We have made sure all windows that require privacy are adequate. Those that do not we prefer to see the natural beauty the windows offer. Our tip for guests is to be sure to read all of the information hosts provide for guests about the house, the amenities, etc,…to avoid any confusion or unmet expectations!

The property was beautiful. The power outlets in the basement didn’t work. The pool table is not as nice as the picture and there was only one pool cue. The ping pong table paddles were all broken. Game room was nice. Most bedrooms were nice.

Wonderful visit, great house
The property was very nice. In particular, we liked the large living room, family, room, breakfast room and kitchen space, as we could all easily gather and share time together. The bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, linens were all very nice. The kids took advantage of the lofted game area, and especially the basement area with its pool table, ping pong table, video game consoles, and the movie theater room. Some of those things were showing their age a bit, but the kids still liked them. The location was excellent - very close to RMNP and Estes.

Large Amazing Mountain Cabin
We loved our time at the property. We had a large family gathering with kids and adults. There was something for everyone! The kids loved the pool table, ping-pong table, arcade room. We enjoyed the disc golf and outdoor seating. The front porch swing was one of the favorite elements of the house. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The house was adequately stocked for our weekend.

Great stay!
I stayed here with a group of 12 other adults for a wedding. It was great! There was plenty of privacy/space for each couple or person to have their own bed, and plenty of space for us to park 6 cars in the driveway/garage. Loved the games, movie theatre and hot tub! Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here. Perfect for a large group and it's very close to town, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc.

Great space for the family to make wonderful memories
Our family really enjoyed our time together. The house lay out is comfortable and the location is stunningly beautiful from every room. We made wonderful memories, eating, playing games and just being together. The location to town and the Park is very convenient. I would have given this property 5 Stars if it weren't for the broken washer, broken and backed up disposal and 2 useless TV remotes. When the disposal backed up and 30 minutes later the washer that was full of clothes stopped I was only able to leave a message through the VRBO app. The owners were defensive and believe they handled things well. Rent this property and it'll be great. If something goes wrong, have very low expectations. An apology would have gone a very long way.

Enjoyed our stay
Only issue was the burned out lights. Lights in laundry room, master bedroom closet, kitchen, and family room ALL need to be replaced. Saw this same issue in another post regarding lights out/not replaced. Check in folder said 2 garage door openers were available only had one. Overall enjoyed our stay, would stay again, and would recommend this property to others.

Perfect place for our extended family to celebrate my 75th birthday
The house was perfect for the entire family. Everyone enjoyed the abundant opportunities for play in the house, so that the cold and snow outside could be appreciated, even if it was too cold for most of us to be out in it.

Worth it!
This is a beautiful house with plenty of space for all of us. We traveled with our 6 kids, their spouses, and our 3 grandchildren. The game room and movie theater were an added bonus. You will see deer, turkey, and rabbits throughout the yard every day of your visit!

100% recommended, nice neighborhood and nice town
All went good, overall the house was perfect, some lights bulb did not work and the hot water sometimes was not enough for everybody to take a shower in the morning, so you have to wait a little bit to give a chance to the heater to do his part.

Cool house but needs better management
We stayed with family over the holidays this year and this property is really cool. All of the game options and different hang-out spaces are great for kids and big groups. The property was a bit neglected though. There were a bunch of burnt-out lights, and a broken lamp in the bedroom. When we arrived the garage had a bunch of trash in it (which thankfully they picked up shortly after we got there). However, I literally found a bag of nasty trash under the kitchen sink in one of the bathrooms and pizza crust on the floor in the basement, so the cleaning crew wasn't too thorough before we arrived (especially given the cleaning fee is nearly $500!). Communication with whoever I was in touch with was spotty to say the best. The wifi was basically worthless. The place has a ton of potential but the current management is not doing a great job overall.

Lots of space
Four generations gathered for our annual Christmas get away. Everyone loved the theater room! We wanted to play pool but there were no operable pool cues. Ping pong was fun. Kitchen was great but there were so many lightbulbs burned out it felt dark. One bedroom had no working light bulb so I had to rely on the bedside lamp. We would have liked small trash cans in the bedrooms for used tissues, etc. The kids liked the arcade. The hot tub was great but the wind blew so hard that even with two huge rocks to hold the cover on, it blew off in the middle of the night. We found two MORE huge rocks and then it stayed on. All in all a nice stay, but some maintenance needs to be done on lightbulbs and things.

Amazing place for a family reunion
We had 10 adult and 4 teens all getting together for a pre-Thanksgiving family get together. This house was perfect! There was plenty of space, and everyone loved the movie theater, video games, outdoor games, and the kitchen, where we cooked up huge, delicious meals. The location of the house was great... near to town and RMNP where we went for two nice hikes.. The neighbors were super nice and friendly, and we saw deer and wild turkeys right in the yard and a herd of elk down the street. The only problem was I emailed the owners a number of times with questions and I felt they were a little snippy with me (maybe I asked too many questions and there was a little misunderstanding about a wildfire in the area) but overall this was a fantastic house and we are already talking about going back next year.

Comfortable house but don’t expect pleasantries
The house was overall comfortable for all 16 of us. The children loved the game room and the adults loved the outdoor space. My only issues were the amount of towels available didn’t match the amount of guests so we were taking shifts on who showered. We also found out that the owners don’t supply any soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, etc. You are, however, supplied with 1 single roll of toilet paper per bathroom (5 total), 2 paper towel rolls, and 5 trash bags. For a group of 16 people to stay in a home with VERY limited supplies was hugely inconvenient and made for our trip to be stressful. The home had some issues of its own, as well. 1/3 of the lightbulbs were out, smoke detectors were beeping from low batteries, screens popping out, and several outlets weren’t working. Overall, a nice stay with a lot of potential but let down from lack of maintenance.

The house accommodated our family of 16 very nicely. It is spacious and the kitchen and main living area are open and well suited for a large group. The outside deck and fire pit area provided extra space to spread out and enjoy the mountain air and wildlife. This was the perfect home for our family. There was plenty of space to cook, eat family meals at a huge table, enjoy TV and read in a large living room. Enough bedrooms for the younger kids to nap upstairs and the older ones to play video games downstairs. Some problems with burned out light bulbs and other maintenance issues. Called the host who sent her helpful assistant who also filled the gas grill propane bottles.

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting
This house was the missing piece for a perfect family reunion. The location is super convenient to Estes Park and hiking and comfortable for a large group. The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals after a long day of hiking. The amenities were great for all ages.

Size and Location
When trying to plan something with 4 families things can get tough. 9 adults and 7 kids were able to fit very comfortably in this property. Lots of separate areas for anyone to get away. The kids were never bored while rotating between the arcade room to the pool, Foosball and ping pong tables, to the outdoor activities of basketball and disc golf. There was a large table were everyone could gather for a home made dinner and then sit by the fire pit to wind down. The property is in a nice neighborhood that is spaced out great and had elk and deer walking through the property a couple times a day.

Colorado family trip
We loved the location, the great living and dining areas and the many entertainment options in the basement. We sent a short list of major repairs that were needed (broken bed frame, broken patio screen door, 2 faucets that were not operational, and a few window blinds that were broken.) The owners said they were on their “ to do “ list. Our family enjoyed gathering in this home.
