This house was lovely as far as size, location and views. It easily fit our group of 9 comfortably with room to spread out. It was a quick drive to everything we wanted to do (Rocky Mt National Park, town, hiking, etc). However, there were so many issues with the house that I’m just going to list them: cabinet door fell off hinges, di, refrigerator started dripping blueish/sticky liquid, one of the downstairs beds is all springs super uncomfortable, and needs to be replaced, all the fire alarms went off at 2 am one night terrifying everyone (including children), paint peeling everywhere outside, doorbell doesn’t work. Also, our group happens to have a combined 40+ years of carpentry/construction experience, and the deck needs work. Balusters are loose, support beams by grill area are slipping out of place, trim is deteriorated or coming off, etc. Basically, the whole house is run down and needs a tune up. Per the owner’s request, we called them first after the door , and they called the Property Managers out. PM fixed the door. The local fire inspector came out for 2am fire alarm incident to make sure there wasn’t an unseen fire. He said the most likely cause was the detectors are 10+ yrs old and need to be replaced. We called the owner 2 times without any call back on other issues. Finally called the property managers, and they were very responsive. Many kudos to the property managers. In summary, we wouldn’t stay at this house again because there’s too many issues.
