"This was one of the best experiences in a hotel, and I have traveled around the globe. The staff here was absolutely phenomenal, and the manager at the front desk was absolutely lovely, caring, accommodating, and kind. From the housekeeping staff to the valet it was absolutely amazing. The restaurant staff is something to be desired, but hopefully they will learn in time because they all seemed new, but we’re absolutely lovely even though they didn’t know much about the menu. "What a great stay! We needed some peace and quiet and Tanglewood absolutely fit the bill for us. The property is beautiful - the horses, chickens, bunny, and cats. We stayed in the Horse Hound suite and it was well appointed, extremely comfortable, clean and cozy. Great place to chill and relax. The farm is also a very short drive to downtown Southern Pines which has a great selection of shops and restaurants.
