"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Bushel and it was in a great location, very near to the town centre. Obviously an old building but Green King have done the perfect renovations and updates on the rooms, it was very comfortable. Our room was light and airy, the ensuite bathroom left me with bathroom envy with its full size shower cubicle. Liquid soap and shower gels provided and the bath towels were massive and fluffy. "We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials. "

"The pub that I stayed in for the night, was very cozy. the bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Central to the center of town 2 min walk, the staff at the westgate pub were friendly and they cooked a very nice breakfast in the morning. the westgate is perfect for a one night stop over."

"Stayed at The George Inn for a long weekend whilst visiting family. The room was lovely, clean & very cosy. Towels etc changed daily. Kettle & coffee machine in the room, stocked well with all you need. Water, juice & snacks also available. I didn't get chance to have a meal this time as so busy. I will definitely stay again & make sure I have a meal next time. I would definitely recommend to stay here!"
