"This home is set in a location with absolute privacy and beautiful unobstructed views off the huge covered patio while still being 5 minutes from a grocery store and 10 minutes from downtown Christiansted. The house has been well maintained and was very clean with new jalousie windows storm doors and screen doors. Furniture and beds also seem to be updated and well kept. The pool was also a very nice amenity set away from the home to take advantage of views and trade winds. "

"Home is exceptionally clean. Plunge pool was super clean and quite warm for early March - it's nearly full sun all day long. Comfortable home and actually pretty private pool and patio area. There is a pergola for shade with outdoor dining and that was a great place to get some work done and get out of the full sun as needed. The view of Buck Island is good, but the house is not located high so there is some general neighbor noise - a few dogs and the famous island roosters are present. ...

"When I arrived the owner came out and showed me exactly where to go. The apartment was small but just what I needed. It was clean, smelled nice, and I appreciate the nice touch of having gentle music and scenery on the TV monitor. Great stay. A couple of unexpected, but friendly dogs were nearby, eager for a pat on the head. All good!"

"The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. "We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"
