Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. "Lovely and clean, and with all facilities that you can think of and a fab bathroom. Lovely big bed but it was very firm and could’ve benefited from a mattress topper. The access to the property was perfect but as I was staying there alone I would have liked the blind on the door to be wider than the window, it was a bit unnerving to lie in bed and see through the gap! Otherwise a lovely property"
