"Friendly suggestion to improve the future guests experience. Add additional forks (we made it work with 3 forks) yet, if you had more than 3 guests that could be difficult. Add a fan Change salt and pepper shaker to ground salt or pepper. Currently have whole peppercorns and course salt in shakers. That needs a grinder salt and pepper set to be useful. Add cookie sheet pan Need hand soap in bathroom Refill body wash. (Was empty) Consider a higher quality kitchen and chairs in the future....

"The property was perfect for our stay in Chicago. Exactly as described, spacious, well appointed and very comfortable in a safe and attractive neighbourhood. It was extremely well connected to transit routes of buses and L-trains. Our hosts, Emily and Laith couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome and were helpful with tips and advice about all aspects of our stay in town. "The property was ultra lux. Lots of special touches that are typically uncommon in these type of places. Overall a very very nice property. One minor caveat - if you are not familiar with Chicago one way street parking, you need to be prepared for that. Particularly if you have others coming to the unit who also need to park."

"What a find! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Solar Lodge. A unique and fascinating property that was also welcoming and cozy, warm and inviting. The eclectic collection of books in the library is amazing. Our hosts offered several options for coffees, teas & snacks. Multiple outlets everywhere. Obvious attention to detail has been made by hosts Colin & James! I especially liked the heated toilet seat. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Really nice apartment with ample street parking. Depending on what time you get there it might be harder to find a spot but we got there around 8pm and found a spot very close to the apartment. Host was very responsive, only thing is i wish they would have sent the check in codes to my phone as a text rather than as a message through the app since it didn’t load all the way and it took some time to receive it. I don’t really recommend it for people who plan on using it as their main spot to spend the majority of their time. Family lives upstairs and it can feel cumbersome to try and follow all the rules and make sure you aren’t disturbing them. Other than that, the host was communicative and accommodating.
