"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "Nice large property on a beautiful piece of land. Very easy check in and the easiest check out process out there. The house was clean and aired out, no musty smells! "It really is hard to put into words how amazing this place is. You truly are right in the middle of the best that the Osa’s nature has to offer. "I loved the serenity. Villa Bonita is private, clean, and has everything you need for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. I was there specifically for birding, and a short drive trook my guide and me to the best hotspots for finding endemic very special Costa Rica species. Great beaches and chocolate tours nearby too. The host commmunicated well by WhatsApp and the neighbors made themselves available for any kind of help. The bed was very comfortable. Thew kitchen has everything I could have needed....

"What a marvelous time we had immersed in the open life between this beautiful beach and wild mangrove river. The host went above and beyond to arrange our desired trips kayaking, exploring Corcovado, enjoying the Gulf, massages, birding, and suggesting options for food experiences. He even suggested the shuttle from San Jose and the hotel to use there as well. Know that Punta Preciosa is remote. It is wild. It is 25 minutes by taxi to town, so come prepared with food and your desired beverages....

"If you´re in the area look no further - stay here! A few steps from the a long beach you will have to yourself most of the time. Wonderful hosts Stuart and Jen will make you feel at home in this modern and perfectly maintained bungalow hotel - they really get what hospitality is about! My son (11) and I enjoyed the friendly chats, great healthy food, good coctails, and the surf lesson that Stuart organized for us. Very spacious, well furnished, comfortable rooms/bungalows with a lot of attention to detail (including finally enough space to hang everything in the bathroom, as well as perfectly filtered water so you really can drink from the tab). We hope we get a chance to stay here again!! "
