Well it wasn't the Ritz that's for sure but we had a good sleep.. The young man that helped us check in was very kind and friendly.

Great staff- i think the motel is going through a ownership transition. Make sure you call first to see if they are in service

It's an older motel attached to a restaurant. My room was very dirty and disorganized. The restaurant staff made an attempt to clean a problem I pointed out but now that I think of it , I should have just cancelled and booked elsewhere.

I have stayed in many similar small town motels. I would say that given the higher price I would have expected more. Full set of sheets, sink that drains, and overall less beaten up. I would look elsewhere in town next time.

Basic motel room however it had bugs on the floor and a smell that was hard to ignore. Half the bathroom was updated - shower looked nice with new tiles and shower head. Coffee maker and coffee but no cups? Just not a great impression.

No one was there to check in despite the site stating check in was available until 9pm. TV did not work, no wifi, brown water. This motel shouldn’t even be listed as an option

Surprisingly large suite with 2 rooms. AC works. Ok location. A little hard to find as the sign calls it Sukhdev Restaurant and Inn rather than Espanola Motel. That name isn’t to be found anywhere. I prefer sheets on the bed and had to ask for towels. The rooms were a bit shabby with dirt layer on toilet bowel. I only discovered the lack of toilet paper first thing this morning! Overall could be better maintained. But quiet and a roof over your head. BASIC

Tidy and quiet.

This is just perfect for a traveling couple or individual. Quiet, clean, safe, and an excellent bed. I just needed those critera as I travel across canada. There's an attached Indie restaurant if needed. Just a homelike feeling.

NEVER again! From the outside it looked like an abandoned property. Wasn’t even signage telling us that’s where it was. Had to go into a bar/restaurant to find someone. Both rooms that he showed me looked the same. My mistake was in choosing one, and not listening to that inner voice! Was not cleaned properly, lacked any coffee preparations (although there was a tiny coffee maker) and it lacked sufficient plug ins. I braced a chair under the door knob, as insurance. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The property is old and in desperate need of an update. There weren’t enough towels in the room for all of us even though they knew ahead how many were in our party. When we went into the room, I turned the tap on in the bathroom and no hot water came out. I turned the shower on, no hot water. When I asked about it, the man said “oh ya, we have no hot water”! The room was filthy and we left! Found a room elsewhere!

About what you would expect from a roadside motel. Good service and good sized room. Drawbacks were no light at one corner of the room where the breakfast table was and the shower head is a bit low. Other than that were pretty happy with paying $210 for a 2 nights stay. Good Indian restaurant attached/part of the motel. Bring shampoo.

Listing needs to be updated to reflect the current name of the hotel (Espanola motel vs Suhkdev motel). Reception also doubled as a restaurant, and the check-in was at the bar. Otherwise, the rooms were very clean and seemed freshly renovated.
