"We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. "I had a great stay for the second time. The unit is well situated on the river, only a short walk to the shops. The unit has been recently update and has everything you may need (except an oven). There are BBQ and laundry (gold coin) facilities, as well as outdoor seating onsite. Would definitely stay here again. Owners are welcoming and responsive to queries. "

No smoke detector in the bedroom, and stuffy air (no makeup air.) We couldn’t sleep, it was just a terrible disappointment."
