We absolutely loved our stay. The location and views were perfect. Great spot to check out the northern lights. Tim and Stacie were excellent hosts and we really appreciated the little extras (fresh flowers, eggs and delicious homemade jams)

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it won’t be the last! It’s spacious, well stocked and the owners are so welcoming and gracious. We didn’t lack for a single thing. The location is safe and very convenient to Fairbanks but also feels like you’re nestled in the woods. One night we didn’t even have to go in search of the northern lights because it was right there! The combination is absolute perfection

Our Alaskan Adventure

We wanted a place to use as our "base" for our stay in Alaska. This was the perfect place. Clean, quiet, and close to Fairbanks where all our adventures started from. The Motis family were the best!

Near Murphy's Dome

The rental is clean and comfortable. We were staying in Alaska to see the lights and this spot is very easy access to Murphy's dome, which was perfect. Whenever we needed to rest up from the long nights out the property was quiet and relaxing. It could not have been better for what we were looking for.

Simply lovely. I was greeted with a basket of goodies including farm fresh eggs, home baked bread and homemade raspberry jam. I was immediately “at home” The hosts are more than welcoming. Would happily return and definitely recommend. Alaska at it’s finest.

Excellent Lodging, Excellent Hosts!

We had a great time at Birchwood Suite! It was perfect for my wife and I. The location and landscaping and tiered gardens were very scenic. And, as an added bonus, the fruits and vegetables were available to us for picking. Tim and Stacie were excellent hosts!

Quiet in the country

If you want to see how your garden, yard and property should look you want to visit this property. It is out of town a ways but it is worth the drive. Clean, well stocked and quiet.

Amazing and beautiful .

What a wonderful place! Beautiful inside and out. Super comfortable with lots of nice touches. Like the fresh flowers, fresh eggs, use of the picnic cooler and lots of local info. Had nice looking tv’s but there was so much to do that we never turned it on. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Northern Lights

We enjoyed Stacie and Tim’s hospitality. Treats were left upon arrival making the first morning enjoyable without needing to have ran to the store before checking in. The apartment is so homey and clean that my autistic daughter walked around barefoot which she rarely does even at lifetime friends homes.

Comfy Cozy in a beautiful setting

Tim and Stacie are exceptionally gracious and generous hosts, above and beyond reasonable expectations, even though we wound up being needy guests. The property itself couldn’t be lovelier inside or outside. We were even treated to a spectacular showing of the northern lights. We loved our stay in Fairbanks and can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing People Amazing Property

Though our stay was a mere 3 days the hosts and their children were very gracious and friendly. The property was very well maintained and the rental was homey and comfortable. It is furnished with an Alaskan touch. The owners went above and beyond with many small touches that we never expected.
