Fabulous Tiny home

The tiny home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and feel like home! We loved sitting on deck in the evening enjoying the views! The beds were super comfortable which is always a plus when traveling!!

Great cabin for a family

I love that these cabins are located very conveniently in Escalante, less than a half mile from the Visitor's Center, and close to shops and restaurants. Our cabin comfortably sleeps 6. The beds are comfy, but I can't speak for the pull-out sofa, because no one in our group used it. However, there is not enough storage for six people, which is a problem when hanging towels and coats. The kitchen is well stocked with almost everything you will need. There is a Kuerig for coffee, and k-cups are included. Salt and pepper are provided, but anything else will have to be brought in. There is a grill available for use, but one evening it was so windy the flames kept going out. There is also a nice firepit for cool evenings, if it isn't too windy. Also included is a washer and dryer, and even laundry detergent. The TV works fine if you have an account to log into for Netflix, or another streaming service. The only downside is that it's pretty pricey. And the included maintenance fee seems high, considering we had to take the sheets off the beds, put all the dirty towels in the shower, take out the trash, and run the dishwasher before we left. I would absolutely stay here again if it wasn't for that.

Tiny but magnificent!

Star Lily was absolutely delightful. The architect of these tiny houses is a genius; everything is so beautiful and well-made. The houses are very private. The view to the northern mountains is so serene from the deck. The kitchen is well-stocked, considering how tiny it is. The location off the main road and at the north end of town is perfect. We often wondered whether anyone was in town because it was so quiet. The only thing that was less than optimal is the closet-sized room that has the bunkbeds. The house really is appropriate only for a couple or a couple with kids. For two adults who dońt share a bed, somebody really loses when they dońt win the coin toss for the lovely bedroom. Thanks for a great stay! Wishing it wereńt nine hours from home in Southern California.

This was our second stay. We love the tiny home. It gives us all the amenities we need to be able to relax in between hikes in the area. We did cook this time which helped with stress of finding food.

Escalante Escapes is awesome and Sheila is the BEST property manager ever!!

I made a huge mistake in my booking in which I booked for the wrong year (still can't believe I did that!!). And when I showed up on Thanksgiving 2021, and couldn't find the property, I called Sheila and she immediately went to work to find an empty property at Escante Escapes for me to stay at. It was freezing cold, so I really appreciate her quick action. We stayed at a smaller property on the first night and she was able to move us a property that had the same lay out as the property that I had initially booked! She ABSOLUTELY went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of, even though the booking error was completely my mistake. She is BEST property manager I have ever worked with. Both properties that we stayed at were fabulous! We really enjoyed our time at Escalante Escapes!
