"Right in the middle of town. Walkable to everywhere you need to go. Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed or wanted! Kettle in the room was great for some tea. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Would def stay here again if I come back to Darlington"

"Staff are great, rooms are lovely - there was a fan in the room but could do with air conditioning given the weather and heat we seem to be having nowadays. Otherwise, no complaints"

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included and extremely enjoyable."

"Very helpful staff, lovely room and added feature of a swimming pool and spa"

"Really great stay, room was large warm and comfortable. Restaurant food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful"

"This is a mixed review. From the pictures given on expedia you are expecting a large hotel. It is not, it is a terraced house with multiple rooms in a run down area but having said that, the host was lovely, the property although needs work, is clean and tidy and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee and biscuits were a very nice addition. It has a large smart TV which has a great reception. I was pleasantly surprised"

"Simply an excellent place to spend great and royal vivencies in a King service!!!"

"The Croft Hotel is a absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, the warm and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. The rooms are spotless, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The highlight has to be the dining—the food is outstanding, crafted with fresh ingredients and full of flavour, complemented by a brilliant selection of drinks. Combined with its picturesque setting and relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway...

"Había comida estropeada en el frigorífico, que no se podía abrir del olor tan desagradable que despedía. En el lavaplatos había cubiertos y vasos sucios. Detrás de un radiador había colillas. En un apartamento para cuatro sólo había dos sillas, y el sofá está completamente hundido. Nos dieron la llave del apartamento equivocada, tuvimos que esperar al responsable casi media hora, de noche y con mucho frío. Llegó riéndose."

"Great room, clean and tidy, just a bit noisy until closing time! Would stay again."
