Holiday House with Panoramic View

  • Comfortable and quiet house surrounded by greenery with a panoramic view of the salt pans of Trapani and the Egadi Islands. Ideal for families with children, or for couples of friends. It is located in a countryside about 600/700 meters high, 5 minutes by car from the Ancient town of Erice and 15 minutes by car from the city of Trapani, where the coast of San Giuliano is easily accessible. The house consists of a large kitchen complete with accessories, an outdoor veranda where you can enjoy the Panorama, have breakfast and dinner, two bathrooms with shower, 3 bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom, a bedroom with a bed single, and an attic with panoramic terrace, with two double beds. The house is also equipped with a barbecue, deck chairs and tables for outdoor use. It is perfect for lovers of tranquility, relaxation, nature, for those who love walking in the mountains, in the woods and vegetation. 5 minutes from the house is also the Ovovia plant that connects Erice to Trapani in 10 minutes. Upon your arrival, the owners will be happy to show you the most renowned areas of the province, and advise you on the most suggestive places to visit.

Beautiful House

Very comfortable, large home in secluded area with spectacular view. The oregano and mint growing wild was an extra treat. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Tolles stilvoll eingerichtetetes Haus hoch über den Salinen. Das einzige Manko ist die Erreichbarkeit. Man braucht 20-30 Minuten zu jeder Straße, die irgendwo hin führt.Erice bietet keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sondern nur Restaurants/Bars einer typischen Tourististenattraktion.Für die Fahrzeit entschädigt der abendliche Blick von der Terrasse.

Large house in a quiet environment

Very nice house with amazing view on Trapani and its salt marshes, located in a quiet environment. Paola and Enzo are nice and attentive hosts. The house is well equipped, a real second home!

Best location in Sicily

Beautiful antique house on a mountain just below Erice, one of the most beautiful villages in Sicily. Very warm hosts. Loved every moment in this house with its beautiful views.

Wunderschönes Landhaus im antiken Erice

Das wunderschöne alte Landhaus im antiken Teil von Erice, wo genau noch 3 Häuser stehen, ist liebevoll saniert, erhalten und eingerichtet. Es sind über 200 Quadratmeter, eine riesige Küche Wohnraum und eine super Terrasse mit dem wohl schönsten und weitesten Ausblick auf das Meer, die Salinen und das Land. Alles war bestens ausgestattet, Paola eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Nach Erice hoch ins Dorf kann man laufen, nach Trappani fährt man mit dem Auto 15 Minuten die kurvige Straße hinunter. Guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge und bei Hitze ist es da oben ein wahres Kleinod. Das feste Schattendach und immer ein laues Lüftchen laden zur Siesta und zum Verweilen ein...

Leider ist der Garten des sehr schön gelegenen Hauses ungepflegt und die insgesamt herrliche Aussicht wird von nicht mehr geschnittenen Sträuchern erheblich verdeckt. Zwei der auf dem Titelfoto gezeigten Palmen sind komplett abgestorben. Viele Pflanzen sind vertrocknet. Die sehr unbequemen Betten und Bettwäsche sind tatsächlich stark verbesserungswürdig.

Misleading

The review would be better if the house had, in fact, been three bedrooms. But there was one nice bedroom with queen and one small bedroom with single, then an attic-loft arrangement with two queens that was reached by a five-step ladder -- dangerous at night. The attic ceiling sloped low and it was hot. The views from the house are fantastic, the kitchen and patio large and very pleasant. There is only one dim lamp in the living room. The host does not speak English.

Traumhafte Aussicht über Trapani

Wunderschönes großzügiges Ferienhaus wenig unterhalb Erice. Die Küche hat die Größe eines "Tanzsaales" und ist reichlich ausgestattet, Paola hatte für Erstbedarf Wasser kühlgestellt und Kaffee eingekauft, uns immer wieder gute Ratschläge für Einkäufe/Restaurants gegeben und mehrfach nachgefragt, ob wir etwas benötigen. Das Doppelbett war bequem. 2 Bäder standen zur Verfügung. Am spektakulärsten war der phantastische Ausblick über die Salinen von Trapani von der großzügigen Terasse. Es gibt 3 Zufahrten nach Erice, von zweien aus sind es wenige (Haarnadel-) Kurven und ein ca. 20 m Schottersträsschen bis zum Haus. Alle Zufahrten sind Bergstrassen, die spektakulärste geht vom Haus aus nach Casa Santa über viele Kurven. Für Menschen wie mich, die solche Straßen lieben, wunderbar, aber man muß Bergfahren mögen. Wir wollen wieder kommen.

Erholsamer Landaufenthalt mit gigantischer Aussicht

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen Landhaus rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns: die geräumige Wohnküche mit schönem Geschirr und Mobiliar, die schattige Veranda mit toller Aussicht und grüner Umgebung und das bequeme Doppelbett, der riesige Schlüssel und die authentische Dekoration. Paola war sehr freundlich, aufmersam um unser Wohlergehen bemüht und für unsere Fragen unkompliziert erreichbar. Für Interessenten ist gut zu wissen, dass die Anfahrt durchaus anspruchsvoll ist. Die Strecke ist bis auf die Einfahrt selbst komplett asphaltiert und zweispurig angelegt, die Kurven jedoch zahlreich und eng. Nach etwas Übung waren wir dann auf dem kürzesten Weg in 15 Minuten auf der Autobahn in 2 Minuten in Erice. Wir vermissen das Haus schon jetzt und hätten große Lust nochmal wiederzukommen! Tipp für alle, die selber gerne kochen: Bauernmarkt in Trapani am Samstag vormittag!

Weitblick und Ruhe

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Für unsere Vorstellung von einem abseits von Trubel und Verkehr gelegenem geschmackvollen Haus mit Terrasse und Weitblick schien uns dieses Haus genau das Richtige und hat unsere Erwartungen dann übertroffen! Ein sehr großzügiges Haus und großzügige, entspannte Gastgeber! Wir waren Ende August für 6 Tage hier und genossen die frische, kühle Luft hier oben (600 Meter). Es ist 4-5 Grad kühler als am Meer, die Wolken, die abends Erice einhüllten, zogen über uns hinweg. Mit den anderen Rezensenten stimme ich in allem überein: die Straßen zum Haus sind kurvig und eng, aber machbar, die letzten 30 Meter Schotterweg zum Haus waren für unser Auto auch unproblematisch, könnten aber herausfordernd sein. Die nahe Strasse ist kaum befahren und keine Lärmbelästigung. Man ist auf großem, uneinsehbarem Grundstück, aber auch nicht zu einsam, das Nachbarhaus ist 50 Meter entfernt. Wir konnten wunderbar auf der Terrasse den Blick bis nach Marsala genießen, Feigen ernten und haben täglich gekocht (die Fahrt nach Trapani zum Fischmarkt war mit 25 Min völlig ok für uns), fanden viel Equipment und Grundausstattung dafür vor, haben gut geschlafen und uns äussert wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit Paola war herzlich und sehr unkompliziert (englisch und italienisch). Wir wollen wiederkommen! Danke!

Großes Haus mit tollem Blick

Das Haus ist wie auf dem Fotos sehr groß und hat eine tolle Terrasse. Die Betten sind leider etwas unbequem. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief super!

Omas Landhaus

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht-diese hat ihren Preis in zeitintensiver Anfahrt über eine Alpenpässen vergleichbare Serpentinenstraße. Letzte 100 Meter Feldweg. Wir haben uns in „Omas Landhaus“ sehr wohl gefühlt, dem Ambiente und Preis entsprechend muss man kleine Unzulänglichkeiten in Kauf nehmen. Paola ist eine sehr liebe, zuverlässige und gut erreichbare Gastgeberin - Tante Grazie!

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollen Blick!

Ein wunderschönes Haus, gemütliche Einrichtung, voll ausgestattete Küche. Super Terrasse, absolut empfehlenswert. Kontakt mit der Vermieterin unkompliziert. Das Einzige, was man verbessern könnte wäre eine Heizung im Haus. Es war Anfang November doch etwas kühl. Sonst aber alles super! :-)

Great place!

We had a great time! The house was located very private with green surroundings and amazing view. The kitchen had all we needed and the house is very spacious. I’m the end we spent most of the time outside on the terrace with a dining table and a hammock. Paola was very quick in answering any questions we had. The only negative thing was the house next door had dogs that was barking during the night which sometimes made it hard to sleep. But we would recommend the house and would book it again.

Amazing views, history and romantic

We were very surprised at how expansive the house was. Wish we had come with friends. That outdoor living space included a bq and a couple of choices of terraces for sun and shade . The kitchen was great and the. 1663 part of the hose had a beautiful functioning fireplace. We hike on a great forest trail (603) into the amazing hilltop town of Erice. Most intriguing was were anymore had been made for Venus - which we looked up at from the house. fantastic . Paula made was so friendly and ready to answer anything with what’sapp. There is no wifi, which made this week stay all the more romantic and relaxing. Wr hope to come back .

Stunning location

This property is beautiful - the photos just don't do it justice. It's a lovely place and I only wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever make it back to Sicily, I would definitely stay there again! Paola is responsive and even contacted me after I accidentally left a camera memory card. A car is definitely recommended and the road is not for the faint of heart but the view is worth it!

Bellissima location!

Location immersa nel verde e nella tranquillità. Ottima posizione anche per visitare punti di interesse turistico della zona di Trapani con la possibilità di passare bellissime serate tranquille nell'abitazione, la quale è fornita di molti comfort per rilassarsi. Consigliato!
