Family ski vacation

Excellent house very close to Jay Peak. Claudia was most helpful and the skiing was wonderful!

The best place to stay

First of all the owner was very nice and super helpful! She gave us many helpful tips, also she welcomed us with freshly cut flowers, welcome drinks and a bar of chocolet .She is the best! The house is very clean, and beautiful, they have everything what you need for a couple of day stay, or even a longer time. The size of the house was way enough for even for a larger family. The backyard is nice and could be fun, if the weather is ok ( we got a rainy weekend).Everything was just perfect! Thank you Claudia!

Cozy winter weekend

Enjoyed the quiet space for a 4 day weekend, kids skied and I was happy to read a book by the warm fire. A super relaxing weekend!

Top Notch property

This property was amazing, very clean and enough space for 6 adults and 1 child. We cooked breakfast and dinner every day in the fully stocked kitchen. Claudia was very responsive during our entire stay and was very helpful. The house was 20 min away from Jay peak and to top that we got 20inches of snow during our trip... so great conditions on the mountain. We loved that there was no TV, it gave us all a chance to disconnect and interact with one another. All in all ,it was a great trip for us and would love to stay at this property during the summer to enjoy the entire property.

Great VT Cabin

We had a wonderful weekend at this adorable cabin. It’s cozy, conveniently located to everything you could want, and is in a beautiful setting. The check in process was super easy, the owner is delightful to communicate with, and everything was breeze. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect weekend getaway

Great cabin to unplug and have quality family time. Close to everything but far enough away to be private. Home was very clean and had well stocked kitchen. Home owner is super nice and very responsive.

Cozy cabin with beautiful views

We chose to rent this home because a cozy cabin in the woods with beautiful mountain views is what we were after, and we weren’t disappointed! The location is great, within an hour of Stowe and so close to Jay Peak. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked and an abundance of linens was provided. There was plenty of firewood to use for bonfires in the backyard and the fireplace inside the cabin. We used the stereo and plugged our iPad in to play music. There was a great selection of board games and toys for our kids to enjoy. We spent a lot of time in the backyard since the weather was so beautiful. Our kids loved walking on the trail around the pond and they had fun picking apples from the trees in the yard. Our host, Claudia, was amazing to correspond with and offered many suggestions of nearby restaurants and activities. We appreciated the instructions she provided for operating various things in the cabin (fireplace, thermostat, etc) this was so helpful. Claudia has truly provided everything needed to enjoy a fabulous vacation at her home. We hope to return again on a future trip to Vermont. During our stay we had lunch at Idletyme Brewing (excellent food, very family friendly) and we visited The Alchemist (both places are located in Stowe, 1 hour from the cabin). We enjoyed a family trail ride at Lajoie Stables, had lunch at Martell’s at the Red Fox (both located in Jeffersonville, 45 mins away). We stopped for groceries at the Wood Meadow Market and Enosburg Meat Market (both in Enosburg Falls, about 20 mins away). We also visited Jay Peak, only 20 mins away, did a bit of a hike and rode the tram.

Great place to stay in summer too!

A wonderful place to stay in Vermont. Our family travelling from France to Quebec and Vermont spent a few days there in summer. The kids were fond of the pond. We made some nice walks along rivers near the cabin and nice spots to jump from rocks. The cabin is very cozy, very friendly we were like home. Claudia was very nice to us and she gave us lots of advices. We would love to come back.

A magical retreat in prime VT rural landscape!

What a lovely getaway!! Our family enjoyed a long weekend here tucked in and happy after long ski days. A true Vermont setting -- peaceful, cozy and SO beautiful. Claudia was so great to talk with and get us settled. You are situated on a secluded property with woods, rolling fields & pond, yet 15 minutes from Jay Peak and the cool village of Montgomery. We cut one day short so we would have time to snow shoe, explore the beauty and gather wood for our fire that night. Board games, a snowball fight, and a spontaneous dance party -- somehow the cabin and weekend had that "family" feel to it as if it were our own place (our kids loved it)! Highly recommended -- we will definitely be back!!

perfect setting for family vacation

Our family loved our stay at the cabin ... it has a well equipped kitchen and is clean and spacious. The fire pit outside was perfect for evening S'mores while we watched the fireflies blink on and off to the bullfrog and cricket symphony. The outdoor deck was perfect for breakfast gatherings before we were off exploring the nearby stream. Numerous family memories were made with our kickball games in the yard and evening visits to the pond. Highly recommend!

Excellent Vermont fall getaway!

Our family stayed at this fantastic Vermont cabin early in the fall when the weather was still warm. We loved the feel of the whole property from the great deck for dinner to the pond for swimming and the cozy living room for evenings. We rented the house as a base camp for Northeast Kingdom adventures (hiking, Canada day trips) but we stayed at the house more than we anticipated because it was so nice just to be relaxed in the countryside. The host was also super helpful about local jaunts - including an idyllic swimming hole just a couple of miles away.

Wonderful well equipped home!

We had a fantastic stay at this clean, well kept home. We were able to cross country ski right out the door around the property and it was close to Jay Peak. Even on days when the weather wasn't ideal for skiing, we had lots of fun cooking together in the well equipped kitchen and playing games by the fire. Claudia's home is charming, warm and inviting with plenty of seating. The views out the large windows of woods and mountains are relaxing and pretty. We also enjoyed the town of Sutton Quebec for restaurants and a fabulous cheese shop and bakery! Loved the area.
