Beautiful cabin and the owner was very nice and accommodating! The only thing we had to buy was laundry detergent and unfortunately had to leave it since we flew so there is a whole new bottle for the next guest!

Andy is a phenomenal host! It’s hard to put into words the expansive view of the mountains from the house. Just incredible. It’s about 10 minutes outside of town, feels quiet and secluded, and has all the necessities for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Frunz Family Vacation

The place was great and plenty of room for our family, kids and grandkids. It was close (an hour) to Yellowstone, Bozeman and Lewis and Clark caverns. Also GREAT views of the Mountains, Big sky. Oh ya, don't forget really close to Madison River for some good fly fishing.

Great location for a Virginia City vacay

A large house that was well equipped and had lots of space. The basement bathroom was a little primitive (it is a cabin after all), but everything was clean and well stocked. The owner was good at communicating. The Check-in document he sent was informative, but a little wordy (3 pages) making it a bit tricky to quickly find all the details I needed. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend for families or friend groups.

Best host ever!

When you stay at someone else’s house, you want to feel welcome and especially when you are spending a lot of money. What’s nice about this place? 4 pages of helpful information and not 20 pages of rules of what to do and what not to do. The owner is super helpful and responds very quickly with even the most basic question of where is your favorite place to fish. We stayed at two different houses for this vacation to GNP and Yellowstone. The other, while really nice, made sure to lock us out before 10 am to make sure we were out of the house. It made us appreciate this owner so much more!

Great house close to town

I spent two weeks staying in this house. We were very comfortable and close enough to town to go eat ot have a beer anytime we felt like it. I had a couple questions about stuff while i was there and the owner was very quick to respond every tine. He even gave us some fishing spot recommendations close by. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook ans there were plenty of bed linens. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the area, it is located about 5 miles outside of town and felt so peaceful and relaxing, the folks who own the property are restoring an old passenger railroad car, next to there cabin. I think it is going to be awesome when it is competed.

Sunset Magazine Worthy...

This is a treasure of a property. The pictures don’t quite capture the sense of amazement you’ll feel on opening the door and realizing you hit the jackpot of vacation rentals: soaring ceilings, sunlight, views from every window, truly beautiful artwork, and the most unique collection of lamps – something I’ve never seen in a vacation rental and truly works of art on their own. We spent a lot of time looking at the collection of beautiful things that make this home seem like a featured property in Sunset Magazine. Excellent linens, an abundance of comfortable pillows, plentiful cookware and utensils, and a cool Montana breeze that is best felt with doors and windows open in the early evening, as the sun sets above the distant mountains. Andy is a gracious and communicative host who answered our questions and gave some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. Nearby Ennis Lake is a lovely place to while away the afternoon heat, with a sandy beach, picnic tables and a few shade trees (it’s a BLM-managed property, so no requirement for a Montana Conservation License to enjoy). Madison Foods grocery store is comparable to a midsize urban market. Deemo’s Meats, right next door has an excellent selection of prime beef and homemade jerky (splurge on the ribeye steaks – you won’t be disappointed). Home and host have earned the excellent reviews. Book immediately and with confidence that you'll have a memorable time in Ennis, MT.
