We had an amazing time in San Diego. This house was perfect for our family. We loved the backyard. We enjoyed the hot tub and the 2 fire tables. The host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again on our next stay in San Diego.

Our Host was very communicative, helping with the check in process and responding to questions we had. House was very clean, hot tub was very nice. The garage had So Many toys to take to the beach or use around the house.Many food and drink items left to share and a kitchen stocked so completely.We enjoyed ourselves and will recommend this vrbo to others and consider using it again if the opportunity presents itself. This house is amazing. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. Beds are comfy. Plenty of room inside and the backyard is spacious. Helen is a wonderful host. She communicated quickly when I had a question. She let us check in early and check out a little late. The house is perfect for families or couples traveling together.

Family Neighborhood

This is our third stay with Helen, she always goes above & beyond the usual rental to make your stay a wonderful one. The house is over equipped with absolutely everything you, your family and fur babies need and more.The fuzzy blanket excess in every corner basket for a cozy relaxing stay on the couch or outside on one of the many patio areas is just the type of spoiling one is looking for. Close to moonlight beach, and other beaches to choose from, restaurants, freeways, and local stores.It was great to be able to park our car in the garage also.Plenty of beach toys, a wagon, bikes for the neighborhood.We would recommend this property for a family or a couple of couples looking to get away and want to have some space and backyard/hot tub to relax in.

Amazing location with a goldfish!

We loved the location of this property! 10 minutes to the beach and we were able to go to the San Diego Zoo and/or Safari Park almost everyday we were there even during “rush hour” which compared to other cities doesn’t seem to really be a thing. My kids really loved the goldfish as well. Thank you Helen for being a very communicative host!

Wonderful Encinitas Stay

Encinitas is the coolest town between San Diego and Carlsbad. We loved the strip. Helen is a fantastic host who easily accessible. Her house is perfect for a family with babies to adults. Thank you Helen for a memorable stay.

Family get away

My family of 4 and my elderly parents and dog stayed in this beautiful home for a fun Thanksgiving break get away. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen, hanging out in the backyard, sitting by the fire pit, going in the jacuzzi and playing cards. Such a beautiful home. Everything was clean, beautiful and nice. My daughter used one of the many surf boards at Mission Beach. Thank you Helen.

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for a wedding at the Botanical Garden. Helen’s house was perfect for us - the location was so convenient, the bedrooms were so comfortable for 4 adult couples, and Helen was so responsive and accommodating. It’s was so much fun to be able to stay all together.

Wonderful home for family vacation

We had a wonderful stay with family at Helen's lovely home. The house was perfect for our multigenerational group, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for families including a stepstool for the bathroom sink, kid-friendly plates, and plenty of toys and games. (And the kids especially loved their room with bunk beds!) The property was spotless and Helen was incredibly responsive as a host. It's a fantastic location, right near plenty of grocery stores and a short drive to the beach. We would be thrilled to stay here again next time we're in town!

I wanted a home with four separate bedrooms so each family had their own space. Other vacation rentals say they sleep 10 but, someone is sleeping in the living room. This house had everything you could want or need. A full stocked kitchen with dishes, spices, coffee and appliances. Baby items, beach items. There are too many items to list. The backyard had tons of seating, tables and a hot tub. The host was kind, gracious and accommodating. We felt at home in her beautiful home. Lifetime memories were made here.

Great family vacation home

We stayed in Helen’s home for a week long family vacation with some extended family. The house is spread out enough that we all had plenty of room to get comfortable and relax without feeling crowded. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and everything that we needed was a short walk or drive away. It is worth noting that the downstairs shower has a natural stone floor that is uneven by design. This was not a problem for our group, but someone with balance or mobility issues may struggle in the downstairs shower. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Encinitas!

Great aesthetic and decor; very bright throughout. Lots of comfy furniture inside and out. Family felt welcome and comfortable in all the rooms. VERY well appointed - the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/pots/pans/cooking utensils - for anything you want to cook. The patio is amazing, multi-level, with fire pits and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Only a couple miles to Moonlight Beach - we had a blast there. The garage has *everything* you need for the beach - chairs, towels, boogie boards, surf boards, umbrella, toys for all ages. We parked in the garage overnight. If you stay, you MUST play the Survivor Outback board game. Too much fun!

Encinitas Get Away

This is a wonderful property in a great location! Such a great experience, we all enjoyed our stay! Short drive to several beaches, close to wonderful shopping, and the host was the best and available if we needed anything. We will definitely book with this place again!
