This was perfectly located for our Sleeping Bear Dunes trip and there was way more space thsn we needed for a mom and 10 year old! Good communication from owner. We felt safe and comfortable and loved the walkability to everything in town!

Hands down an amazing place to stay. Centrally located to meet all the needs of our group. House was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. The communication with owners was very easy. If we ever return to Empire, this is where we will stay.

Location is unbeatable!

The house was spacious and worked well for our family. We loved the fenced in yard for our pups. The location was absolutely perfect. We had fun walking to get ice cream and then walking down to the beach and watching the sunset every night. Thank you for your hospitality, and we cannot wait to be back!

Perfect Weekend

We came up to see the fall colors and the sleeping bear dunes. This was in a perfect spot and everything we wanted was so close. It's walking distance to a great beach and park for the kiddos. We walked down every night to watch the sunset. The cabin was perfectly cozy.

Empire Farmhouse

This was my second stay at the Empire Farmhouse and it was wonderful! The owner is very responsive and the house is welcoming, comfortable and clean -- with all amenities. The location is hard to beat - around a corner and 5-10 min walk to the beach. We will be coming back!

Just what we needed

Family vacation

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Driving by it looks like it could use a little TLC but inside is comfy, clean and updated!! It is well equipped with everything you could need!! The location is ideal- close to beach and steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. So much to do and explore in the area!

Perfect Empire Stay!

Our family had such a wonderful week at the Apple Blossom House! The house was plenty large enough for our big clan. We had so much space to spread out and enjoy our puzzles and games together. The outdoor firepit was great for morning and evening conversations thanks to the generous supply of firewood. Everyone had a nice and comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen is well stocked for making family meals. And best of all, the location! Right around the corner from amazing views of Lake Michigan and wildly beautiful sunsets! Across the street from Joe’s with the best burgers around! Make sure to visit Tiffany’s, The Secret Garden, Miser’s Hoard, the Library and even the EZ Mart all without getting into your car❤️ It was an all around lovely week and we certainly hope to return!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved our stay at the farmhouse! Francis was excellent in responding whenever we had questions. The location was perfect. We loved being able to walk to the beach and downtown Empire, which were so close to the house. If and when we come to Empire again, we would be happy to rent this property again.

Amazing place to stay!!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. Francis was wonderful with the communication and even went above and beyond and mail a few items the kids left behind. It is the perfect location and exactly what we were looking for family/kid friendly plus close to the beach. A well-appointed kitchen and with a great setup for eating dinner in the backyard and sitting around the fire pit telling stories! We can't wait to make it an annual trip! Thank you.

Excellent Week Up North

We had a great week in Empire! The house is right across the street from Joes Friendly Tavern and walking distance to Empire Beach (unbelievable sunsets). I’ve been vacationing at Glen Lake my whole life but this was my first time staying in Empire and it was a nice quiet change of pace. The house itself was clean and spacious and was stocked with everything you could need.
