Beautiful home in a beautiful area. There was a small hiccup during the stay with a swing, but the owner handled the situation very professionally, and had the swing fixed by the next day! We had a wonderful time overall, and would highly recommend the property for gatherings of 34 couples!

We had a great week! The house is very nice, was clean and well appointed. The owner was responsive and very accommodating. Absolutely no complaints. It's a great location, and has lovely landscaping, too.

We enjoyed another Emerald Isle vacation at The Finnish Line this year. My family has returned to this location for years and always enjoys the stay. The location at The Point is ideal for access to the beach as well as the surrounding communities like Swansboro. The owners take great care of the house - there’s always something new about the place each year!

Beautiful home!

Our family enjoyed staying at The Finnish Line. A short walk to the beach, plenty of room for everyone, both inside and on the porches. Excellent coastal property!

Great House By The Point

My family has been staying at Emerald Isle for years and has returned to Finnish Line for several years now. The Point neighborhood is great and the house is within walking distance of several access points to the beach. The house always seems to have something new each year when we return and the owners and management team are very responsive.

Family Reunion

This property couldn’t have been more perfect for two families to share and host dinners for the rest of the families. The property was clean, well maintained, the location was perfect. Both the owners and the local property management were prompt with any questions and issues. Hopefully we will be back for another reunion.

Best beach house

My family can't say enough about our first stay at The Finnish Line! The house was wonderful in every way. Well stocked kitchen. A top deck balcony that we could have spent all day on enjoying the view. Well maintained. Nicely decorated. We had the most wonderful week at our 1st time in Emerald Isle. Sure hoping we can do it again. Thank you Bill and Patty

Repeat stay

We had a wonderful time. The beach at this end is large even at high tide. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we were able to get outside. There is a wonderful path, where I walked everyday, easily accessible for exercise and the men purchased a pass to drive on the beach with all their fishing gear. We are getting older so the unpacking is getting harder bc of the 2 flights of steps necessary to reach the kitchen and living area. The view from the porches is well worth it.

Great Location!

We have been renting the Finnish Line for several years now. This property never disappoints! Location is perfect, great restaurants, lots of activities, and the owners are super easy to deal with. We have recommended friends and family to stay at the Finnish Line and they too have enjoyed it as much as we do. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Another Great Stay at Finnish Line

My family and I just wrapped up another great vacation spent at Finnish Line on Emerald Isle. The Finns are great hosts - answering questions when they come up and keeping the house both well stocked and maintained. The beach in this neighborhood is sizable and not crowded. We look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful home!

This house has a nice layout and is beautifully decorated. We love to cook, and the kitchen is so well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare any meal we wanted. There are water views from all the porches which is so nice but it is a short walk to the beach. We had small children so next time we will rent a cart or two to pull all the supplies or even the kids. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely home…perfect location!

This was our first time in Emerald Isle, and this house didn’t disappoint! If you love the beach, this home is for you: beautiful ocean views from the third floor deck with nice ocean breezes, sound views from back deck, plenty of outside space to enjoy including porch swings, close beach access, ceiling fans in every room, nicely and tastefully decorated…I could go on and on. We just returned home today, and I feel so relaxed. All the stress melted away as soon as I stepped inside the Finnish Line. Property owner was so nice and responsive, too! I would definitely recommend this home for some R&R!

Great house but with a design flaw

It is an amazing location. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen. The en-suite rooms were great. The room with single beds was next to the hall bath but the room with the queen bed that shares the hall bath was inconveniently located for someone who needs to use the restroom during the night.

Prettiest House on the Block

Beautiful home inside and out! Perfect size for my family (3 adult children, spouse and 2 young grandchildren). The home looked as pictured and met all our expectations. The kitchen was was well stocked and all the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting around the tables on the outside porches in the mornings for breakfast and evenings for happy hour. Three of the porches were set up with comfortable porch swings or rocking chairs. The ocean breeze and views made it an even more relaxing gathering spot. The location was perfect for a family with small children. Quick walk to the beach and short drive to grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed walking back to the beach to watch the sunset. Make sure to bring your camera! The sunsets were spectacular. Our stay and vacation were both 5 Star. We would highly recommend this home!

Great House and Great Location!

Our family has been coming to Emerald Isle for years and love returning to The Point as it offers wide uncrowded beaches and access to shopping and restaurants on and off island. We’ve stayed at Finnish Line multiple times and it has become our go to for our annual vacation, offering well cared for and updated indoor and outdoor spaces. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

Home Away From Home

Our family has stayed at the Finnish Line for many years and it has become like a home away from home! It's perfect for our family of eight! We loved the many updates, both inside and outside, that made the home feel so welcoming. As always, the house was spotless and immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked, even with a large enough pot to make our family beach favorite- Frogmore Stew. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the beach, breathtaking views and lots of bike riding routes. The owners were incredibly accommodating and made us feel like family. We appreciate them sharing their beautiful home with us and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

House was dirty but great location

We arrived and the house hadn't been cleaned. The response I received from the property management company was "well you're early". It was 2:45 (3:00 official check in time) and the owner had told us we were good to go and given us the code. A very nice woman and young man arrived to clean about 20 minutes later as an emergency crew. They spent about an hour and were very apologetic. They tried their best but there were still dirty sheets left on one of the beds, hair on the bathroom floors and overall it felt rushed and unclean all week. I had tried to contact the owner through VRBO but messages never went through- I assume they turned that feature off so property management could handle issues. Disappointing start to our trip but the location was lovely.

Family Getaway

We loved this home! One of the best homes we have stayed in on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked. It made cooking family meals easy and enjoyable. The home was large but cozy. Lots of outdoor spaces to sit and talk with family. The views were wonderful. It was an easy walk to the beach....even with small children. The beach was incredible. Lovely sunsets. Everything was great! We had to wait about 30 minutes past our scheduled check-in, because the cleaning crew had to finish. However, the home was clean and pleasant. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great trip!
