For a beach trip, it’s as close to the ocean as you can get without being oceanfront. Beach was very nice, not packed so I could walk from our rental to the beach canopy in about 5 minutes.
I’ll stick to positives and negatives:
Positives:
- Very close to beach
- The outdoor shower is great after a day in the sand.
- Far from the popular beach access, very sparsely populated.
- The space is huge! The full kitchen is nice to have.
- There aren’t a ton of decorations for my kids to misplace.
Negatives:
- The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. My family all felt the same, none of us rested well.
- The king bed is super close to the wall and I found it difficult to get in and out of.
- The beds are extra loud, need some WD40
- No TVs in the bedrooms (I am used to it at night)
- There’s no way to blackout the windows, and the morning sun is very bright on the king bedroom.
- The check in process is annoying. I understand that someone runs the property, but they could have easily texted us the door code and checkout instructions. Instead we had to go out of our way to pick up and drop off a packet with code and instructions.
- The beach access close to the rental has stairs on both sides, not ramps. It’s a struggle with a beach cart.
Overall, I probably would not stay here again based on comfort factor only.
