This place was amazing and perfect for our family beach vacation. The layout was perfect with one bedroom on the main floor, and 3 on the second floor and the top floor was perfect for a family of 4. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Bath towels were thick and so nice. Kitchen was the best stocked VRBO kitchen we’ve ever had, they have thought of everything. Nice pantry to keep your food items organized. Beautiful view of the ocean from all the windows, and loved sitting on the outside furniture with a nice awning for shade. They also had 8 beach chairs and a sun shade for us to use, that was so handy. We truly had such a nice vacation renting this home. Great location just minutes from the major grocery stores and restaurants. Would totally recommend.

We have been coming to EI for 12 years and have always rented from a large real estate company. This experience was much more personal, the accommodations were well appointed, communication with the owners was easy and replies were prompt. We loved the location and really couldn’t criticize anything about the house! We would love to return next year!

We have been to Emerald Isle on three separate occasions and thought this house just surpassed all the others. From the moment you walk into Christy and Scott's vacation rental you feel at home. The house was beautifully decorated and had every amenity you could think of. The kitchen was well stocked , which was very nice because we cooked most nights of our vacation. The dining table was large enough to comfortably fit our group of 8. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. Having the upstairs loft area worked out perfectly for our teens. I was concerned about this property being a duplex, but it felt very private. It was nice to be close to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you Christy and Scott!

Best house ever!

We've been staying oceanfront for almost 30 years, and this is the best house and location we've ever had! The decor was lovely coastal, the views were beautiful, and the house was spotless! We hope to keep coming back!

Perfect

Dunecliff East was the perfect vacation house and just steps from the ocean! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 11. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group and the huge table was a great spot to play games at night. Christy was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make our special family time just perfect!

They really think of everything. They're responsive to our questions and suggestions and really make us feel at home. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and can't wait to return!

Summer Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at Dunecliff East. The house was well suited four our vacation with 5 adults and 2 small children. Scott and Christy were fantastic hosts and responded very quickly to two (very) minor issues that occurred during our stay. If you're looking for an oceanfront home for a family getaway, you don't need to look any further.

Amazing Beach House

My family and I could not have been happier with our stay at Emerald Isle. This house was perfect. Exactly as advertised. Lots of amenities and right on the beach. The host contacted us several times prior to our trip. And gave us several great recommendations. I highly recommend staying at this property. I would definitely book again. The location is perfect.

One of Emerald Isle's best beach houses!

We had nine in our group, including four 70+ year olds, three 30/40 year olds and two younger folks, 14 and 19. It was the perfect place for our group, plenty of bedrooms and baths, well stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies and paper products, lots of beach chairs and sand toys, propane grill -- we couldn't have asked for more. The hosts communicated frequently and were most cooperative and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Ocean Front Home!

We had a wonderful time at Scott & Christy's home - it had everything we needed and the home was in great shape. The views were stunning and the location was super close to everything. It was also nice that they had a lot of kitchen utensils, comfy beds & TVs in every room!

The property, location and owners were amazing. It was by far the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever experienced. The house is extremely comfortable and decorated so beautifully. There were so many extras that made the place perfect. I have only good things to say about our family beach trip!

Fantastic!

What an amazing house! Wonderful views and easy access to the waterfront. There are so many thoughtful extra touches here: beach chairs, electric shade cover for the deck, charging outlets with easy access, and the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. We all love this house and we’ll definitely be back!

Great Emerald Isle house

We have stayed in many homes in EI. This was among the best. It is in a great location , comfortably furnished, and with all the amenities you could ask for. Communication with the owner was great.

Cannot beat the view!!

What a treasure. After a tough year for our family, we were looking for a place to relax, unwind and break away from the chaos of the day to day. When I say Dunecliff East delivered that and more, it is not an exaggeration. It is exactly as pictured, and more! You simply cannot beat the location - not only for proximity to the beach and the incredible view 24 hours a day, it is also conveniently close to everything you need including groceries etc. It is easy to spend the entire day on the beach, or take short trips down to the water to entertain little ones (having 4 kids; 3 of which are 4 and under, this is essential) and spend time under the awning overlooking the water for a small break from the sand and sun. We probably spent more time on the deck than inside! The home was clean, inviting and the hosts were very communicative, flexible and sent fabulous suggestions for food and local places to check out. They left a very kind note and welcome bag as well. The kitchen was well stocked and it was SO helpful to have tons of beach toys for the kids provided and not have to bring those with us. Even the internet connection was good, which in our experience at beaches is somewhat rare. Unfortunately, a few of us had to work while we were away and having that was very helpful. We had an incredible time and hope to come back in the future!
