The Curry's have thought of everything when it comes to a nice relaxing time at the beach. We couldn't have asked for anything more for a time to reconnect ànd get away from everyday life for awhile. Very clean and well decorated.

We've stayed in some great VRBOs and this place was by far the best. They thought of everything. There were warm cookies waiting for us when we arrived! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you so much! I don't know if they creeped our Facebook but the size difference in the robes was spot on (I'm 6'4"and my wife is 5'1").

Awesome place

We had great time at Flip Flop Suites. The place is great! We slept like babies in the comfy bed. There was wine and cookies for us when we arrived. There plenty of TV options. Bikes and gilf carts to check out the area. The beach was awesome. Johnathan and Carolyn were awesome host. We hope to come back and see them again.

It was an awesome location with some great amenities( beach chairs, coolers, golf cart/bikes etc. ). Hosts were very friendly and communication was good. Nice little spot for 2 people to enjoy for a little getaway.

From start to finish, booking to check out, this retreat was definitely five stars. Carolyn and Jonathan had everything we needed and MORE tucked away in our quaint and romantic suite (B). We were graciously granted a tour of the other suites as well, and each one was immaculate and decorated to perfection. Every suite has an inflatable hot tub, which was so enjoyable and relaxing that we plan to purchase one for our home. Sign up and use of the golf cart for transportation to the beach was easy and convenient. Would you believe they even provided beach chairs and towels, a cooler, and a Shibumi!!! My hubby even enjoyed the use of the bikes provided though he rode under protest at first. The short ride to the park and hike on the wooded paths brought back memories of our childhood and we loved it. The retreat is close to all kinds of good food and ice cream, but if you wish to cook there is a Blackstone grilling station and (for your booking information) Suite C provides a full kitchen. We love the beach, but there is plenty of other fun things to do nearby…miniature golf, arcades, go carts. It was a short drive to Beaufort where we hopped on the Crystal Coast Lady (30 pp) to see the wild horses on Shackleford and many, many dolphins. It was lovely! Without a doubt, we would return and highly recommend this VRBO. It is a special place run by a very special and attentive couple.
Suite B is on the first floor. Suite A is on the third floor with hot tub and lounging area on the visible deck. Suite C is around back (not visible in picture)

The Suite was perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, great interior design providing everything needed, including a hot tub! lLocation a short walk away from the beach and close to restaurants. Hosts were wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!

My Wife Loved It

All in all, everything was good. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable for me due to the bed topper. After we removed it, my wife slept like a baby. And both of us being above the age of 60, we may not be as tech savvy as some, and had a little trouble getting the lights and coffeemaker to work as they could. As I said my wife loved it, and that is what most matters.

We stayed for my wife’s birthday weekend- very much on point with what she wanted to do. Relaxation and resting. Very quiet location with privacy. Good food all around and beach is close as well. We have this on our radar for future getaways!

Lovely Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Suite Retreat. Decorated cute, comfy bed and everything you need for a short beach trip. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, cooler, hot tub and complimentary golf cart. Jonathan & Carolyn were very pleasant and quickly responded to a few questions. Relaxing and romantic!

The suite was super cute and had all sorts of ways to maximize relaxation - hot tub, gas fire pit, and porch loungers outside and a cozy couch and comfortable bed inside. There were plenty of thoughtful and complimentary amenities from warm cookies upon arrival to snacks, toiletries and a decent blowdryer. The bikes and golf cart were also very easy to reserve and fun to use. I hadn't rode a bike in years and the neighborhood was nice to bike through...we even saw an egret fly past someone's front yard! The beach was a short golf cart drive away and had tons of beautiful shells. The wind prevented us from kayaking, but that was an available option as well - the host are friendly and responsive and recommended all sorts of fun things to do (sunset watching points, beaches, rainy day activities). They seemingly thought of everything and our vacation was perfect. Can't wait to go back!
