Great Vacation!

The house we stayed at was wonderfully maintained and very quick walk to the beach. Our host was wonderful to work with and always very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle!

Great Place for Families

The house was as described and the owner communicated well. Beach access was a few houses down and there were plenty of options for food nearby.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were great from the decks. The property was clean and well stocked and it was only a short walk to the beach.

Family Weekend Success

Great communication from the host Diane and we felt prepared and comfortable for our long weekend stay. It was great to have all the beach supply's there, as traveling with kids, we have plenty of other things to bring. The baby gates were also a great thing we didn't know we needed! Walk to the beach was perfect and the whole family had a blast.

Location!

Perfect location with easy beach access and beautiful views. Loved that it was stocked w so many beach essentials so we didn’t have to pack them! Communication with host was outstanding!

Great location and layout!

We spent a long weekend in Emerald Isle, and would definitely stay here again. Good communication, good layout, best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. Close to the beach but also very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Family vacation

Everything was great! Just a short walk to the beach (3 minutes) plenty of space for all of us. No need to bring beach chairs etc. Well stocked This was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay again

A real gem

Dianne is easily the best host I’ve ever rented from. The house was very comfortable for our family (ages 2-63). The location was quiet while also being very close to the beach, attractions and food/groceries. My father immediately asked for the property ID to rent again.

Our stay was fantastic. The house itself is very clean and functional, with great proximity to the beach. The three bedrooms upstairs allowed our kids to have some freedom while we slept downstairs. The beds were very comfortable. The cul-de-sac preserves quiet. The walk to the beach is minimal. The beach is beautiful in July. One of our favorite beaches we have been to along the east coast. Water is clean and warm. The area is lively enough but not erratically so. The host was kind and helpful but not intrusive. Overall, a great location for a family beach trip. We will definitely like to come back.

Ideal location

Very nice house just 1 block back from the beach but still a nice view regardless of the apartments next door. Very clean and organized house well arranged with lots of furniture for a baby and a wellstocked kitchen in terms of cooking and eating utensils. Owner was very available and welcoming. Would stay again.

Wonderful!

The host Diane was extremely helpful, and communicated wonderfully throughout our entire trip. Everyone in my party was extremely satisfied with our stay, loved everything about it, and were already talking about booking for a trip again next summer! Would definitely recommend. Location is great, home is very clean and well taken care of, and the host was extremely kind and responsive!

Perfect family getaway

Steps from the beach and loaded with all your beach necessities, this home was perfect for our family beach getaway. With four bedrooms and three baths, each of us had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was hard to beat. Diane was available for answering questions but the property was well equipped with its own instruction manual that provided all the answers we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyable Family Time

Our immediate family stayed here while attending our family reunion in Swansboro. Thoroughly enjoyed the house. Perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. The house was supplied with everything that was needed and even items we didn’t think of (ie. baby gates for the stairs). Quiet, private,(partial )view of the ocean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you!

Clean and has everything you need!

This was our family’s second time staying here. We absolutely love it! It’s clean and has everything you need! We love not having to bring our own linens. Toilet paper, paper towels, liquid soap, beach chairs, boogie boards, laundry detergent, dish detergent is all provided. The hose and outdoor shower is very handy for washing off all the sand! The beach is just a short walk down. Will definitely be back next year for our family’s annual vacation 🏖️

Gorgeous property in a perfect location

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Emerald Isle house! I visited with my mother and my two children (ages 13 and 14) and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The location is perfect - close to the beach but also to shopping & other fun activities. The beach is stunning and we loved swimming and boogie boarding with all of the supplies provided (a generous assortment of well-cared for beach gear). The house itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. And, our host was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. I've stayed at many rental properties and can say that this was one of the nicest and most comfortable. I hope that we'll be able to return sometime!

The perfect beach stay

This home is perfect for an easy beach trip. Everything was provided for the perfect beach trip. You could literally get into your car with a suitcase and only need to make a trip the the grocery store to enjoy your stay. This home is in one of the best locations on the island. close to the grocery stores, coffee shops and the waterpark which has minimal parking so walking is a great benefit. The public access is a short walk. Diane was very attentive in making sure we had everything we needed. We also had family members staying at another home over for dinner each night and had plenty of room between the large dining table & picnic table. We are highly considering this home again for our vacation next year. Thank you for a great 2022 family vacation.

Perfectly Comfortable & Beautiful Beach House for Families

House was even better than expected. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of room for a family or two. The TWO decks were so relaxing to sit out on and listen to the waves. You can see the waves between the houses across the street. Nice large dining room table. Kitchen well stocked if you wanted to cook. Bathrooms were nice and I appreciated the handheld showerhead which made it easier to help bathe my special needs son. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated being able to sign in to my Hulu and Netflix for the duration of my stay. There are plenty of beach chairs so that you don't have to bring your own. Beach access is just 4 houses down the road, not a bad walk at all. Once you get to the beach, that area was never overly crowded. When you return back to the house from the beach, this property has a convenient outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. Very handy! Grocery stores and restaurants were all nearby. Diane was quick to provide check in info and reply to messages. She even let us know about events in the area. It is obvious she maintains her property and wants you to enjoy your stay. Check out procedures were quick and easy. It was our first time staying in a duplex property. We never heard our neighbors except in passing in the driveway and they were just another nice family enjoying their vacation. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

So Convenient and Super-Clean!

In the 10 years since we've vacationed with our grown children, all agree this is the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. Well-equipped, with comfy beds, great AC, and super clean! 3 bathrooms were ideal for our 3 couples. There was a crib, but it turned out the trundle bed was actually perfect the 2-yr-old in our group. The living room furniture was ample, and the dining room table gave us lots of room to gather for meals. We also made good use of the deck. It provided an extra play space for our toddler, and the view of the ocean was a bonus. And so convenient! The beach was just a short walk away. We made several walking trips to Publix and Food Lion. Two of the evenings we walked to and along the bike/walking path that runs beside Emerald Drive. Pretty much everything we needed was within walking distance, though we did drive twice - to the playground at Blue Heron Park and to the wonderful aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Diane was great at responding through the VRBO site to all my questions. The welcome letter she sent shortly before our stay included much more useful information than I remember ever receiving for a stay anywhere else. She was also very available by text. Our only complaint was that we didn’t like the taste of the water. But a quick trip to the grocery store for bottled water solved that. It would definitely not keep us from staying there again. We are already talking about trying to reserve this rental the next time we are in E.I.!

Beautiful Stay!

The owner was very attentive. Check-in process was a breeze. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had all items needed for a family that likes to cook! Loved it! The beach was amazing and all beach items were in perfect condition! I recommend this property! We will be back!
