Holiday blues

Arrived at villa to find pool green on the Sunday and sorted this by the Tuesday morning only to find that drain vent in pool was loose and left a hole when using so pool not able to be used safely until the Friday 5 days into our holiday. Villa was good and clean inside but round the pool needs tidied up. Very small outside area

Property was well equipped, in some areas it was very grubby, the mattress in the master bedroom was in a terrible state but had been covered with a protector. The shower cubicle in en suite. Is a disgrace, tracks are filthy. Overall not impressed.

Good comfortable stay Well equipped for Children.

Good clean villa, location quite away out & need a car. Neighbours not too good. Lots of dogs barking & always visiting the villa as they can get round the back. Had a lovely flip flop stolen by a cat or a dog !! Don’t leave anything outside. Inside villa very good. However all outside furniture all needs replacing, only 4 sun beds so if 6 stay not enough & one was broken. However the owners were always an email away & would always reply to any concerns.

Sept 2019: Relaxing 2 week stay at Villa Kalandia

I would say that Villa Kalandia certainly offered us all that we wanted for a relaxing stay in the beautiful cypriot sunshine. Upon arrival we were pleased to find a nice welcome pack of food and drinks that had been provided for us. We feel that our holiday was enhanced by a two week car hire that allowed us to reach the resorts of Coral Bay or Kato Paphos within 15 to 20 minutes. In addition locally there are the lovely villages of Emba and Kissonegra that can be reached within a few minutes drive with their many local Cypriot tavernas, shops and supermarkets. I would fully recommend using Google maps for your transfer, particularly if you hire a car as it guided us from Paphos airport right to the Villa's front door with absolute ease. We were also very grateful for a generous offer of a late stay on the last day of our holiday as we had late flights returning to the U.K.. Thank you John & Jayne. ,

Smooth experience no problems and a wonderful holiday a hire car is definitely recommended and if you are looking for a relaxing holiday this ticks all the boxes the villa is well equipped and the owners provided for a young child too.

Amazing villa

Beautiful villa- perfect location for us as right near to family. Car essential to explore the beautiful island. Pool/ garden well maintained and villa well equipped with everything needed and more! Excellent communication with Owners. Couldn’t of asked for more- would definitely return and highly recommend to others

had a late flight coming in and management made provisions for that ,including essential groceries...also allowed us to check out 8pm as there was no overlapping booking...the whole experience was pleasant...will highly recommend

Had a fantastic time with family. The villa is clean and has everything one needs. It’s large enough and comfortable. You’ll need a car to get anywhere, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Very good and prompt communication with the owners. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Lovely clean Villa and Pool highly recommended

We loved our stay. Spotless Villa and Pool. Villa has everything you could possibly need. We would absolutely stay there again. John and Jayne were so helpful in the run up to the holiday, the taxi was waiting at the Airport to pick us up even with the 1 hour delay that they booked for us. Hire firm they recommended were great and we would use them again, reasonably priced too. The whole holiday was perfect. Lots of things to see and do near by but you will need to hire a car. Villa and Pool are bigger than they look in the pictures and all the electric plugs are the same as the UK so no adapters needed. Thanks John and Jayne for a really great time in your villa.

What a lovely villa in Emba! We enjoyed our stay and the owners were lovely. They provided us with a starter groceries pack, beach towels and didn't charge for our late check-out on the last day. They resolved an issue with the bed without delay and as the villa has a great wifi signal, they were easily contacted if we needed anything. The pool area is a delight, not overlooked and gets the sun most of the day, with adequate shade. The villa is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and 2 full bathrooms, and a downstairs cloak, so is suitable for the amount of persons likely to be staying, as well as hairdryers on each dressing table and USB ports in many of the sockets for easy charging without using a plug socket!. There is air con in every area too! The teenagers also enjoyed watching some of the vast array of films available via the box under the TV. We didn't discover it until the last day, but the front bedroom balcony provides a good place to view the sunset over the sea! One thing to be aware of is that there are no shops nearby (- well, we found that it was a bit far to walk in the heat) so I would say a car is needed, but this may change in a couple of years when Paphos is expanded further and didn't bother us. I am sure that a return taxi into the town for an evening wouldn't be too expensive if you wanted a drink. All-in-all we couldn't fault this place or the owners and would love to stay again if possible. We would highly recommend!

Was in a quiet area which was difficult to find on arrival however, everything was presented in a good clean condition and was equipped with everything that we needed. The pool and surrounding area was very clean though the youngest were not in good condition though they were changed during our time there.

Excellent Villa Excellent holiday

My husband and two teenage sons have just returned from a 16 night stay in August at Villa Kalandia. What a super place to stay. Very easy to find from the airport - I think it's the first time after many holidays when we haven't managed to get lost ! The villa was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. It had everything we needed ...and more. The best welcome pack we've ever had. All the information we needed about the villa, excursions, bars and restaurants. The owners John and Jayne were fabulous throughout. Incredibly helpful, always responded quickly with the right information. I'd had to postpone for 12 months due to ill health and John and Jayne were so understanding and kind. We'd never been to Paphos before but would definitely return. We had great meals in all the restaurants we ate in. Massive choice from cheap and cheerful to fine dining The choice was endless. Good value for money Coral Bay is worth a visit and although much smaller than Pahos town there's still a good choice of places to eat in and bars to drink in Lots to do in and around Paphos - water sports, beach buggy and quad bike hire, golf and " foot golf" ( which my lads did many times it all got very competitive !!) in addition to fabulous sightseeing Thank you John and Jayne for such a great experience

My husband & l have just returned from staying at the villa. As our first visit to Cyprus it was a perfect place to be. Away from the tourist spots but close enough to walk and get to know Cyprus. Everything you needed was catered for, pool cleaned regularly, tv, cd player, wi fi and very comfortable furniture. Chris the taxi driver was more than helpful and the day out on the boat, swimming in the med and wonderful food and wine was one of our favourite times. The villa is a must for a relaxing or adventure holiday, highly recommend.
