"Room was clean and comfortable, food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and helpful. The only problem was the remote control for the tv didn't work and staff didn't seem to know how to fix it. While it's certainly not the most important thing we all know 99% of hotels have got TV's in them, it's standard these days so the staff should be trained in how to work or set up the remotes and there should always be spares. There should be a set of instructions near the reception or even in the rooms...

"A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. "Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!"
