"The rental was exactly as advertised. Everything seemed very new and clean. The kitchen was well appointed and the entire small house was amazingly efficient in design. "We celebrated our 10th anniversary at this beautiful place. It was soo relaxing. Our German Shepherd, Lakota, was welcome. All 3 of us loved being on the lake and playing on the very spacious grounds. The cabin itself was cozy and tastefully decorated. Our 10th anniversary was lovely and we made some great memories at this beautiful place. Thank you!"

"The home was fantastic! Spacious, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. And the most comfortable beds! In fact, we’re going to order the one in the master bedroom. Loved being right on the lake, and the beautiful views. We had an issue with the sliding door and it was dealt with immediately and appreciated the fast and friendly response. "We had such a great stay at Cole’s place! It was the spot for us and our baby. It was cozy and very clean, and they were kind enough to provide some baby items for us. It was a quick drive or nice walk to downtown and beautiful view of the lake in the morning. The home had parking available and any amenities we needed during our stay. Cole was also super responsive and available for any questions. We can’t wait to come back! "

"When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees.
