"We enjoyed the most wonderful week at the Huckleberry Cabin. We love the peaceful surroundings, the porch swing, the hammocks, the hot tub nestled in a lovely garden, the many beautiful artistic touches on the property. We were able to really relax. The hosts provided everything we needed to make a fire in the fire pit, so we relaxed by the fire and ate our messy, delicious S'mores. We loved the sandwiches and ice cream at the nearby Olympic Bakery. Each day we found a beautiful new place to go...

"Great place to stay while going to Olympic National Park. The little town center of Hoodsport was about 30 min away and had a grocery store and cute little coffee shop that we went to most days. Plenty of space and the backyard has an amazing view of the lake."

"Home was comfortable with lots of room to visit and kids to play, close to shopping and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved staying here. 3 brothers and their families and everyone had room. It was perfect. Host was quick to respond when I had a question and house was clean and stocked with necessities. Would 100% stay here again!"

"Would rate the overall experience as a 6 out of 10. Okay but not great. Property is a bit run down especially the backyard area. Both sliding screen doors fell off the tracks, neither bathroom sink had a drain stopper. Kayaks are a nice touch unfortunately it's a tuff job to get them down to the water and even tougher to get them back to the house. Internet service was good and the TV worked great."

"The property was exactly as described and proved to be the perfect beach house for our family of four. Breathtaking views to take in from the back porch, a fun beach to explore on the outgoing tide, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. All this within walking distance of coffee shop, brewery, restaurants, bait and tackle shop, and grocery/hardware store. Five stars. Would recommend."

"This is a beautiful home very close to a variety of activities. Plenty of space for a family to spread out, or get comfortable together. Easy check-in and great communication. Nice that we had access to TV, Netflix etc. Perhaps because we went off-season but a few things fell a bit short for me. First there was no propane for the grill and the grill looked like it hadn't been used for a while (needs cleaning). The host did offer to reimburse us if we went to get the tank refilled. "Sweet little house and a smooth process of renting. Great automated communication through Vacasa. House has a happy atmosphere & is well maintained inside and out. Not a ton of cooking supplies so be sure to bring your own if you are making big meals at the house. We were so thankful to have a beautiful and relaxing vacation on the water. However the low rating was due to, home was still being cleaned past checkin time, kitchen cabinet door missing, kitchen knife found on outside table (we had small children), outlet cover missing (again small children), water shut off to the house prior to checkout for work on the well, no notice to us. Basically an unsafe situation. I believe a refund should be provided."

"This cabin was the perfect get away for a weekend, nestled in the trees next to a babbling brook. It was peaceful and cozy, especially in the unexpected snowfall, and appeared exactly as shown. It was an absolutely delightful experience and one I would definitely go back to again!"
