"We found the home to be in perfect order and very charming. It was a little disappointing to learn how far away and difficult it was to get to the water. The andvertises a closer to water location. The other comment I have sent along to the owner is the fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarms went off in the middle of the evening disturbing our sleep for no apparent reasons."

"Quant camping site with a great vibe! Shower room was very nice with a space heater, needed for a cool September morning. We will stay here again, when in the area. Close to all the things to do in the area. Great communication from the host. "

"This is our sixth time booking this property in two years! We’ve always loved the area and used to visit once a year, but since finding this cottage, we’ve been coming up three times a year. The 10-acre private lot is perfect — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Our pets love exploring the trail, and it’s become our favorite getaway spot. The cottage is always spotless and has everything we need. The hosts are absolutely wonderful!"

"Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to...
