Wonderful door county getaway

We loved the rustic lodge. Two grandmas and two 10 year olds. It was a wonderfully relaxing place to return after running all day at shops and attractions. It was set up perfectly for us to all gather and also to have some private time space. Very centrally located. Check in was a breeze.

Family retreat

The property is as good as advertised! Being there in the winter made the fireplace especially nice to have, but we enjoyed everything about the place. Highly recommend it!

Quiet Respite

My purpose in visting Land's End cabin was to have several days of quiet in a comfortable, cozy cabin in the woods - with a beautirful fireplace. I felt right at home as soon as I entered. I slept well at the cabin, and felt safe and secure. If I had any complaint at all, it is that the fireplace had a lot of burnt wood and a lot of ash in it from the former resident. I hoped to start a fire as soon as I pulled in at dusk, but had to find the bin in the back yard to put the ashes and burnt logs into...then shovel all of it out to the bin before I could get my fire going. Other than that, I found everything very much to my liking and comfort.

Great Getaway in the Woods!

My sisters and their spouses...all over 60 had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods! Very quiet and had all the amenities you can ask for. The WI-FI was pretty slow but didn't get in the way too much. The listing did mention a hot tub but there was only a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Other then that, we had a great time and would return again!

Great Cabin Experience

We had such a great weekend in Rowley’s Bay. This cabin is clean, spacious, and in a perfect location. It is so quiet and peaceful, but a 10 minute drive from everything. Lisa was great! Would highly recommend.

Six great girlfriends had a wonderful time in Door Co. Our house/cabin was so cozy and fit us perfect. It was so nice to come home to the quiet of the woods. Great place to stay!

Comfortable, rustic and nice location in door county. Being a contractor and having previous years of experience in cabinetry/fine woodworking, I really enjoyed all the wood in the cabin! Nicely done. Would definitely go back.

Sibling Get Together

Two brothers and a sister with their spouses spent a week here. Took a sunset cruise and just drove around and enjoyed the area. Visited some lighthouses and wineries. The women enjoyed the shopping and the men enjoyed the beer. The cabin was very comfortable and the deer and squirrels were friendly..Great area for hiking and kayaking. Saw some fishermen catching some nice sized fish.

There were six of us all over 60 and we had a wonderful stay. The house is rustic and woodsy and comfy and homey. All of the things you want for cozy stay. We would absolutely stay again if we came this way.

Secluded cozy getaway

The cabin was tucked away in the woods which left us with beautiful views. It had everything we needed (except laundry but a quick trip to sister bay suds was easy to do). It was very warm and our host made sure we had fans and even provided more in the middle of our stay. That was above and beyond!!! We loved our time and would definitely book this house again! Lisa was amazing to work with!

Oasis of calm in the woods

House is clean, comfortable, and charming. Convenient but private location. Nice outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fun watching the wildlife, but be cautious about deer when driving at dusk-so many! Enjoyed going to several nearby beaches, including Sand Beach. Great host, easy to reach when I needed anything.

Beautiful Cabin

We had an amazing stay at the Land’s End cabin this week. Lisa is an amazing host, full of helpful information, and extremely responsive. The cabin is perfectly located in the heart of Door County but just off the path enough to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cabin itself was very comfortable and cozy, perfect for our family. Highly recommend this location for your next DC vacation! Thank you Lisa!

Rustic, quiet cabin but bad mosquitoes outside

The cabin was really atmospheric. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare nice meals. The beds were very comfortable. I even shared the pull out sofa bed with my daughter one night and slept great (I’ve never said that about a sofa bed!) the bathrooms were great and the place was very clean. The one thing that really impacted our enjoyment, however, were all of the mosquitoes outdoors. We were not able to enjoy the deck or cook on the grill due to the sheer number of the mosquitoes. We had to run from our car to the house when we left and came back each day. I’ve never had this issue in door county. I am not sure the owner can do much about this but I share this for future travelers to be aware of.

A perfect logwood cozy weekend getaway with family and friends. Lake nearby, serene space and clean and maintained house. Host is very nice and quick to respond to any queries. Will recomend this cabin for a peaceful stay.

Great Cabin in the woods

Loved this property! So beautifully put together. The history of the place is amazing! Thankful for supplying all the bedding, towels, kitchen appliances, and baking and cooking equipment. They even had extra cleaning supplies around if we needed it. The best part was definitely the location. Loved being able to walk down the the dock every morning and evening to watch the sun rise and set. Thank you for your hospitality! We will be planning another return for sure.

Spring break cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay at this awesome cabin. The 1800s barn wood, beams and fireplace make this a unique and cozy place to relax after a day in the outdoors. Door County in the off season was peaceful. Very responsive and friendly host. Highly recommend.
