    Mountain Retreat with a Game Room, Firepit, & Shared Resort Amenities



    The Space:

    Located in the Coosawattee River Resort, this modern, four-bedroom mountain cabin is ideal for a family vacation or couples retreat in the North Georgia mountain town of Ellijay. Inside this open and sunlit home, you'll find a large, open concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area with a table for six, and a spacious living area with twin leather sofas, a gas fireplace, and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. The fun really begins downstairs with an expansive recreation room that includes a second TV lounge, Ping-Pong table, game table, and a wet bar with a minifridge and microwave oven. And outside, fire up your gas grill to add a little something special to your home-cooked menu or just relax and enjoy the view on your furnished deck. You and your guests will also enjoy access to shared resort amenities including an indoor pool, tennis/basketball courts, a fun-filled arcade, and a miniature golf course. For sleeping arrangements, this cabin offers four cozy bedrooms, all with plush, king-size beds for the ultimate comfort.



    The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.



    The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.



    Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.



    Things to Know

    Guests must register 48 hours before arrival or they will not be granted access to the resort.

    Internet access is not currently offered at this home

    * Please note that the Coosawattee River Resort only allows two punches per day to be used, which means any party can only have eight people use the facilities a day.

Clean and spacious

We loved this condo for the large bedrooms, it was very clean, the drive was fairly easy from Ellijay, and when I had a question about the cabin, I had quick responses from the management company.

We loved everything about the cabin. Location, plenty of parking, cleanliness. The only thing that could be improved would be the beds are a bit firm, but that’s being picky. We loved everything about it and would definitely stay again!

Hidden Gem in the Mountain

This home was very spacious, nice and clean. Just a warm and comfortable home to retreat to, away from the city. We really enjoyed ourselves and this property had a lot to do with it.

Great Cabin in a Resort

-Very clean -Like new cabin -Nice views, but not secluded due to being in a resort. -Separate bedrooms gave privacy in cabin. -Gas fireplace was fantastic for the cold weather we had.

Highly recommend

Excellence all around ! Beautiful, clean , peaceful, spacious, high quality ! Just watch for deer and windy narrow roads - they can be tricky especially at night ! We will be coming back !

Best Cabin ever

This is by far the nicest cabin I've rented. The pictures doesn't do it justice. My family didn't want to leave. I definitely recommend this cabin for whomever interested.

Blown away

Beautiful home and well furnished. Not busy and just what is needed to relax. Wifi is meh but I wouldn't expect people to be working, just enjoying time to relax. Well beyond or expectations and would definitely come back.

The property was lovely, well maintained and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the space. Additional seating in the main living room and on the deck would have been the icing on the cake, as would games. We thought there would be games based on the description, but there was only ping pong. If we return, we will bring some!

Fantastic Stay

This house was spacious, relaxing, and private. Had the family come for the long weekend. Everyone had their own space and it provided entertainment between the ping pong table, games, and rec center. The large back porch provided additional space to view the sunset. Would definitely recommend

Relaxation

Our family of 7 absolutely loved staying in this comfy cabin. The house was clean and stocked. It was so quite and we were able to see a lot of wildlife including a bear. There was lots of things to do in the cosawatee resort unfortunately they no longer did day passes for the pools and we were unable to get a guest pass through the cabin as they were sold out of the cards. Still a great place to stay! Our family loved having a ping pong tournament every night. Highly recommend for any family!!

Beautiful house

This house felt like it was brand new. It's spacious, has a great layout and a fun game room in the basement with a ping pong table. The primary bedroom is large and has a great big bathroom. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay, the majority of the distance being between the house and the entrance gate. At dusk you'll see tons of deer along the ride which was cool. Only negatives were the lack of curtains on the bedroom windows because it's bright in the morning. And make sure you enter from the main gate because the alternative presents a route with a very steep hill one of our cars could not get up. Otherwise a lovely stay!

Great place, but

We loved our stay at the Rustic Retreat. We had 4 families with 4 babies all under 15 months. The cabin was super spacious and open, with a shared swimming pool that tbe babies enjoyed. However with 4 babies, the parents relied heavily on baby monitoring and wifi was cutting in and out like crazy and we were not able to monitor our babies, which was quite nerve wracking. Also, our guest binder was missing its pool pass so we were almost denied access to the pool but after explaining in detail our situation to the pool staff, they were very understanding and let us in. With four babies, we tried calling tbe Vacasa team and they reached back out to us after quite a while, when we were already granted access to the pool.

Relaxing

The cabin was beautiful and super clean. Tons of space and the kitchen is well equipped with all you need. The grill works great. It was nice to have a separate place downstairs for those who wanted to watch football and play ping pong while others wanted to nap upstairs. The layout of the house is great if you have teenagers who would like to get away from the adults for a bit (or vice versa :-) The only issues we had were checking in to the resort. They did not have our names on the list. My son was arriving later so I called to make sure they got us all on the list before he arrived, but they still did not have him on the list even though he arrived several hours after us. Thankfully the people at the gate were super nice and allowed us all to enter since we had the confirmation code and address. If you are looking for a getaway just to relax and hang out at a cabin this is a fantastic choice! We would stay here again.
