This cabin was located on a beautiful stretch of the Cartecay River. The views from the back decks are amazing! The cabin is also very spacious and provides all the needed amenities!

Excellent property, exactly as depicted. River was amazing. Cabin clean and well appointed with fully stocked kitchen and luxury linens. Would highly recommend!

The perfect getaway for or family of 5 and dog! We have 3 boys and they absolutely loved the access to the river for fishing and playing by the fire. The house was cozy and clean and had more than enough room to fit us comfortably. Close to some main attractions and great hikes. Our only discomfort were all the spider webs on the porch. This made it a little hard to relax out there. Otherwise a fantastic trip and would recommend this location!

Our family and a couple friends had a lovely weekend at this beautiful cabin. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the river and the rooms a lot. We would love to visit again.

Love this place!

We’ve stayed in this area a few times and this was our favorite rental! You cannot beat being right in the Cartecay River! We will definitely be back.

Spring break

We loved this cabin! The location on the river was perfect (the neighborhood driving in, not so much.) We appreciated that this was a dog-friendly property. It’s isolated enough yet still close to shops and restaurants! We had an amazing time!

Scenic riverside cabin

The cabin is off the beaten path so be prepared for that, but the river side location is fantastic. The beds aren’t the most comfortable but you can relax in the hot tub and comfy couches

Great Vacation Spot

Loved the cabin and the separate levels. The river was very beautiful. Cabin is located close to several small towns that were wonderful for shopping etc. the beds were challenging.

Great house!

We had a great time, the house is very large and clean. Great location, direct access to the river, nice surroundings, plenty of paths to walk your dog, if traveling with one. 15-20 minutes from Amicalola Park with beautiful waterfalls and trails. We traveled in July 2023 enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Family get together

We had a wonderful time staying in your beautiful cabin. The sounds of the river were so peaceful and relaxing we stayed on the porch for hours. Really enjoyed tubing the river right in front of the house. We definitely want to come back soon. The cabin is well equipped and clean.

Awesome property

I rented this property for my wife’s birthday. When pulled onto the property and opened the door she said I hit it out of the park. This place is amazing. I would go back every time. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful spot

Rushing River Lodge is secluded and on a river. The only people we saw while at the lodge were kyakers. River access is easy and the fishing was a blast. We love that each bedroom was on a different level so while we were together as a family, everybody had their own space for private time. It was a wonderful vacation!

Family Christmas vacation

This was the sweetest cabin in the mountains beside a beautiful creek! Our family truly enjoyed our stay here! So cozy from the Christmas tree to the fireplace to much more! We have told our family and friends all about this Awesome place and hope to come back again! Caught giant trout and saw multiple deer! We made many memories that will last a lifetime!

Birthday Getaway

We had a great time at the rushing river lodge! We were a multigenerational crew who went up for a weekend to celebrate birthdays. Favorite parts: sitting by the river, fishing and floating down the river, and relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the river. We slept with the window opened at night so we could hear the river—amazing! The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed for a very memorable weekend.

Best Anniversary Trip

The cabin was beautiful! Right on the rushing water of the Cartecay River and my husband had a blast fly fishing. Not the best river in the area for catching trout, but the property itself was perfect. At the end of the private road, on 3 acres where no one could bother us. We used the hot tub multiple times a day. If you cant use stairs, dont stay here because there are a lot. We found it to be the perfect piece of quiet paradise.
